I am *loving* this series but cannot, for the life of me, understand how it's NOT been called "Merry Christmas" (episode 1), "Scary Christmas" (episode 2) "Hilari-Christmas" (episode 3) and, presumably, "Solitary Christmas" (episode 4) and "Dirty Harry Christmas" (episode 5). Missed opportunity, that. Many Happy Christmases and all the best in the New Year, Guy, thanks for all the joy you bring.

Yes good thoughts - I swapped sad christmas for thoughtful as there are enough people out there who find christmas a difficult time of the year without me adding ot their problems

@@ThinkSpaceEducationYes, good thinking. Truth be told, I was having difficulty thinking of any other -ary words that fit for episode 4 so I went with solitary hoping to lean towards the sense of "pensive". Thanks again to you - and Arnold - very much enjoying this series.

Nice to see Ableton again. Thanks Guy. Initially the Electronic stuff from Arturia didn’t quite convince for the “Comedy” aspect but when Clarinet came in, yes, it worked. Vivasswan SriHarsha

7:55. Wonderful madcap humour, Guy. Had me creased up. Reminds me of the Sellers scene where he frantically wrestles with a blow up doll :).

I was a little skeptical about the bendy bells, but pulled it out of your sack and put a bow on top with the underlying JB theme. Thanks Guy and Arnie happy Holidays 🎅🦖🎄

You're certainly adding greatly to my 'twixmas' enjoyment Guy, flippin' funny, flippin' fascinating and stealthily inspirational and educational! Thank you! It also gives me the viable excuse to go to my studio armed with a foot pump and inflatable of my choice!

The cheapest set of sleigh bells is only 8€ at Thomann. I think that is one thing for the box full of odds and ends that is in every studio.

One thing that I was curious about is, did you select that specific noise for your metronome or is that default? Does anybody report that using a different one helps the creative process or just keeps it out of the way?
@ThinkSpaceEducation
@ThinkSpaceEducation 4 месяца назад
Yes if you work with live players as I do, they hate a metro one that has any tonal element so I use a urei click
