Jin is the brave introvert. to make the guys comfortable at the beginning of an interview he does something wacky to ease tension.

I’m not even kidding but Kim seokjin is the most iconic Koop idol. He always speaks up for the right issue not considering what his company thinks, he is highly educated and got into the most prestigious university in South Korea to study acting and he is currently doing his masters despite being in bts. He was scouted by SM but he rejected them twice and then he was scouted by big hit and he accepted their offer. He was an actor and learnt how to sing and dance when he became a trainee and now he is one of the most critically acclaimed vocalist with even Grammy writing and article about him and giving him the nickname silver voice. He is really funny and witty and knows how to read the room and uplift everyone’s mood. He is extremely kind and also is a honorary club member of UNICEF because of the large amount of money he donates to charity every month. He knows how to sing, dance, cook, is extremely athletic , is funny and extremely kind. Basically Kim seokjin is the perfect man !!!!

Would you believe me if I told you that Jin is actually the biggest introvert in BTS? Followed closely, of course, by Yoongi. He doesn't like parties or events, he rarely leaves the house outside of work, he doesn't have close friends outside BTS and management, he doesn't like all the attention on him, and when it is, he goes completely red and stuttery. A man was talking about his experience with teaching BTS for a run episode and he stated that Jin came up to him after filming and apologized if he'd offended the man in any way (he hadn't tried seriously in the episode, just goofing off the entire time) and that he only acted like that because the members get very nervous and it helps them feel comfortable and relaxed. You can kind of see the transition of him through the years, going from quietly standing back and not drawing much attention to himself to when he started acting shameless and making the conscious effort to make people around him laugh. Basically, he treasures making people happy and comfortable around him more than he treasures his comfort zone and I think that speaks volumes on how good a person he is. He once talked about how he doesn't share when he's depressed or hurting because if his pain causes others pain or sadness, that would make him feel so much worse. Namjoon even mentioned that the first time he heard the lyrics to Moon (Jin's recent solo piece) he realized that Jin was going through way more than he realized. Jin is strong and very admirable!

I think Jin lets JK pick on him the most and not many of those clips were shown here. They're seriously like Tom and Jerry type energy who feed off each other. I've heard it said before that Jin raised JK to be his best friend in regards to how much they really do adore each other. Jin is such a loud ball of fluff - he's hard to ignore and works endlessly to help make sure everyone around him is happy, oftentimes at his own expense. Behind the lens you can see how smart he is yet he's shy and the other members are great at pointing it out when his ears are turning red with embarrassment.

The comments have already told you about diiferent sides of Jin's personality, i will just add one heartwarming thing - the EatJin vlives have helped many ARMYs who stuggle with eating healthily, JIn enjoys food and knows a lot about cooking, so the sight of him stuffing his face with delicious foods has a good healing effect, eating stops being scary, people finally start feeling hungry after a very long time etc. I personally think this is awesome!

Here's the thing: the members ALWAYS say that camera-Jin is not natural-Jin (eta bc yes, this is real jin too). Non camera-Jin is very quiet and calm, one Variety reporter called him "broody". Jin is an extreme introvert, and kinda insecure about things except his looks, particularly back when many of these were filmed. But he also has INSANE emotional intelligence, always knows how others are feeling and how to cheer them up. So he will do silly things to break the ice/loosen others up/de escalate situations (like when a mc kept insisting him and Tae kiss regardless of how uncomfortable Tae was).

Yoongi once said that Jin is exactly opposite of him,he used to appear to be calm and savage outside but he's very goofy inside but Jin is goofy outside but he's always calm and quiet person by inside,so camera Jin is like this but he's a very shy person and kinda introvert,BTS really is made of 14 members y'all,each have their own side and duality 💜💜

We need to watch some Jin and Jungkook action 😂 the chemistry between those two is incredible, funny yet they care abt each other a lot

I see Kim Seokjin, I click 😀. He can actually still be shy and introverted. He often puts himself out there to be a mood maker so his members feel comfortable. He is very caring and does a lot to protect his members and make them laugh.

His name is pronounced “sock-jin” He’s naturally skinny and can eat ginormous amounts of food without really gaining weight. I think he said in a V LIVE once that he had been able to reach his goal of putting on some more weight but then spent a lot of time playing computer games and lost it again lmao “Jin is completely shameless” is also what I thought at first but that’s not entirely accurate. Before BTS’ debut he had been actually quite reserved and quite but later on became to adopt this persona of the shameless mood-maker. He has said that he enjoys joking around because that makes people laugh and subsequently he gets happy seeing that. However it is clear that he still isn’t completely free of all inhibitions (case in point - his ears turning bright red whenever someone is paying attention to him)

Jin has said before making people happy makes him happy. And he has no problem icebreaking to lighten the mood, the members have before expressed how greatful they are that he does that (like in that first variety show you saw that is like a school setting... the guys were nervous but with Jin breaking the ice and lightening the mood the guys felt at ease and could enjoy it). I bet his introverted side comes when he is at home and recharge his batteries (they took MBTI personality test and Jin is INTP ).

- Jin is the second tallest in the group after RM. I believe RM is 181cm and Jin is 179cm - The camera man was JK 😂 # I aspire to be as confident as Jin.

It’s so funny cause he gets really shy, embarrassed, and is pretty quiet off camera~ You can see the steady growth of confidence a comfort being in front of the camera. I recommend the Jin documentary to see this kinda :D

The thing is that Jin is actually an introvert and the other members have said he is the shiest member too. Jin appears super funny and confident on camera and in front of the fans, but he says he does that because he is actually not as confident. He always praises himself on his good looks because he thinks if he does it enough he will eventually start loving himself (kinda like therapy). He has also mentioned that during interviews and variety shows he is willing to put himself out there because he wants to make the other members feel at ease in those situations and lift the mood. RM (Namjoon) has even said that during interviews he feels a lot more at ease when he is next to Jin. He just wants to make ARMY smile/laugh and just have fun as well as the members.

I love Jin, any time I feel down I watch videos of him and it always makes me laugh and cheers me up.

i love and appreciate jin so much because of his kindness and perseverance. he was 20 and in university when he joined bighit. i can't imagine learning to sing/dance at my age. it must have taken a lot of courage to leave his old path and jump into something as daunting as being an idol. it would have been easy for someone less kind to grow to hate or be jealous of the other boys, but jin always loves and takes care of them while practicing hard alone to catch up.

Jin reminds me of my youngest son when he was about 16. We where shopping and he walked up to a complete stranger and said "Hi, how are you? Finding everything you need?" no he did not work there he was with me shopping LOL He also loved himself and how he looked always wearing high end fashion.
