I don't know where they get this saying that black people don't swim. We lived in the inner city across the street from the neighborhood park and swimming pool full of US!! My father still lives there to this day 😉!

BF your time, Black ppl were not allowed in public community pools or beaches. Most ppl learned to swim in those spaces... so that and ,any other stereotypes derived from tht kind of systemic racism. ...and nothing else..
