im always for artists doing what they want not what the fans want. ive made piece with that when filthy frank became joji and the fact that people still hate on him for pursuing his intrests baffles me same goes for any other artist who got sick of what they were doing before and wanted to do something new
i remember when the ceo of his label was texting him to post the album he dropped and market. i believe he wanted to get dropped by his label as they still needed more albums to fulfill contract obligations. its possible that this new rebrand is what he actually wants to do
