I googled the error and found this. Comfee washer E1 error code: The washer cant reach its preset water level after longer than 30 minutes of trying to fill with water. The solution is to check if the washer is not filling properly with water and if it is leaking water. Fix any leaks and also check that the water shutoff valve is open. Hope you didn't get a defective washer. Mine has had no issues this far.
So so so helpful. I ordered mine off Amazon and got this exact small one by accident as well. So I started panicking 😂. Thanks for the review. I feel like I can wash in peace now😭
It is such a good product! I couldn't get myself to buy those toy looking ones lol! It worked out for me because I don't have many places to dry my clothes! It's also just me!
@@josephdejesus4681 hands down the best purchase I've made for my apartment! Its small, durable, and hides easily in my closet! I haven't had to step foot in my laundry mat here. It will pay for itself with all the money you're saving!
You have the exact faucet head thingy I have and I was wondering if it would work.I watched like 3 videos before anyone (you) hooked it up during the review. Thanks a bunch!
It very cute looking at this size for my mil. I have a a RCA 1.2 cubic feet and I love it works beautifully anyone living in an apartment should have one
Mine stops after a few minutes then starts again, rice during wash cycle, dies yours do that? I feel like mine might be broken, the spin cycle on mine also seems quite loud, almost like the drum is hitting the sides.
May I ask you a question? Do you think this portable washing machine is quiet enough to own in a student dorm room in college? I’m going to move into a dorm and I don’t know how soundproof the walls are going to be. I’m absolutely afraid that someone is going to hear me and report. People can be noisy and mean if you know what I mean Thank you for this informative & great video!! :)
I am not sure but I just followed the manual. Im sure you can use lliquid but I believe someone commented that liquid will damage the components faster. Possibly because of left over resude in the rinse cycle.
Hey Will, It's been 2 years now, so how do you like your machine? I'm going to buy one but was wondering, could I fit a set of queen size sheets in there? Do you wish you got the bigger one? Thanks for the video
I dont turn off the faucent I just leave it on. I've had no problems. If you are nervous about leaving it on you can turn it off after the initial fill up. The washer will not continue the wash cycle after a spin/drain cycle is complete because It wont register the water filling up the bin.
I have tried connecting it to my faucet and opened it. The water is coming to the washer and also I can there are water coming down from the sink. Why is this happening? Do I need to do anything to adjust pressure?
Wish you could get these in the uk 🇬🇧 I seen the Black and decker one to witch I liked and is popular brand over here to. But can’t find them only in USA and Australia 😐😐 You can get small 3/4kg washing machine but they weirdly cost more to buy , a lot more my washing machine is a conbo hotpoint Aquarius washer/dryer 8kg 1400 spin nothing special just mid range and a that is a big drum front loader but one half the size costs around £400/500 like mine did when it was brand new and it’s twice the size… Plus top loaders aren’t popular at all over here everyone has front loading. I want one like this you can just wheel away got a compact 4kg dryer it’s brilliant
I'm going to be on which comfy size to buy. If I'm going to wash a queen size fitted sheet and top sheet and pillowcase with this size be okay or do I need to go to a larger comfie size ?
Hey Will! I ended up getting it. I'm wondering if you ever use warm water or bleach. The owner's manual needs some serious editing. And FYI someone ripped off your content and posted it on their channel--same title plus "2021."
I usually always use cold water and I haven't used bleach yet :/ Thanks for letting me know someone ripped me off! Can you please link the video if you can find it! I can't believe someone went out of their way and did this! *edit* I found the link! Thank you for letting me know!
@@debb4099 You must have some spidey senses because although I made that last comment over a week ago I ran my first warm load pretty much right when you commented. I don't plan on doing it much, and never with hot water.
@@debb4099 Thanks, Deb! I noticed that about the manual and think it's supposed to cover two models, which makes a lot of it confusing. However there is a sticker next to the attachment for the intake house that says not to connect to a hot water supply. Oh, and did you see that part about not storing it in humid areas? That's my entire state! My lint trap doesn't seem to catch much and when I tried to unscrew the pump filter some water came out so I just put in back on quickly and figured that I would just deal with it later. I might have to find something lower than my bathroom sink for the drainage hose--not sure. but I've no shortage of 5 gallon buckets around. Overall, I am glad to have it.
Sweety you don't need that much detergent in these small machines, you'll have to run more rinse cycles. I'm just trying to help you save money on detergent and water.
At the place on the washing machine where you connect the hose, mine keeps pushing the water back out. Water will not pass through the spout on the machine. Does yours have a blue cap in it?
I leave it on and I have no problem but you can turn it off between rinse and wash cycles if you're worried! You can also fill it up with buckets of water if you're worried about damaging the pipes.
Necesitaba un vídeo sobre esra lavadora. Ya que en las reseñas escribían que es muy ruidosa y dudaba en comprarla. Ahora veo que es silenciosa y práctica. La pediré por Amazon y me llegará en 2 días.
I have one and had it for 3 months love it but sometimes I get E1 code and have to drain mine from the back. I have to unscrew the black thing. Drain the water and restart mine. Have you had the E 1 code?
It hasn't happened to me but someone had the same problem and this is what I commented. *** I googled the error and found this. Comfee washer E1 error code: The washer cant reach its preset water level after longer than 30 minutes of trying to fill with water. I got the 1.0 white ivory comfee portable washer back in March of 2023 & it has been a Life Saver! I cannot believe I didn't get this sooner! Kinda wished I'd look at the different sizes I would've gotten the largest comfee portable washer lol either way I'm happy with it! 🎉
Hi, thanks for your review.. did you have to manually keep cutting the faucet on when it was on the rinse cycles? If so, was there a beep or notification sound for you to know when to turn the faucet back on for the rinse cycles?
I needed this review. I'm currently using a different kind of portable washer, and it works well but it's not fully automatic. So when this one breaks, I planned on getting a fully auto. But as I also live on the second floor, I needed something that'll be quiet, and small enough to hide (not allowed to have them where I live)
No valid reason. They want us to pay to use their washing machines that are nasty. Cant have dish washers either. But i also have a portable of those too lol. @DontDooTooMuch
It’s been a year, can we get an update? Do you still have the washing machine? do you think they monitor the water usage ? Has your water usage gone up to where it’s noticeable for them to get concerned?
@MizCo-zt8vt oh I still have this. And it works well. I don't pay for water in my apartment, so I'm not sure if they monitor it. But, I use mostly cold water, as the instructions are clear not to use hot water, so I don't think the water bill the owners pay would change too much.
My brother took apart my washing machine the hoses and I can’t figure out where to reconnect the drainage holes. There’s a large closed unit at the bottom of the washing machine but I don’t think that’s it. Where do I connect the drainage hose if anybody can tell me I would really appreciate it because none of these reviews go through the hook up of the hoses other than attached to your kitchen sink but not talking about where you put it on the actual washing machine is rockets. It’s not rocket science I know, but I’ve got to try to figure out how to get this washer back on working order.
I have the bigger one I believe is the 1.6 cu.FT , I Been having it for 2 years very happy but all of the sudden, the spinning cycle to dry clothes is not working, so it just washes but not rinses, any have any tips or something that may be able to help to figure out the issue, thanks.
Question: I don’t have an aerator faucet to be able to remove and then to screw on the washer hose. What can I do without buying a whole new faucet? Can I just fill from the sink or will that burn out the water pump?
I been looking at this size washer as well and needed to really get a visual of how big of a unit this is? Since I no way of hook up connection I too need to fill it manually with water as some have stated. So this gives me a ideal to do that . I just have washed for the first time and that’s not going to work, what a hassle . I do have the black and decker portable dryer that is a life savior even Though my clothes were still close to being after 2 hours of trying to wring them out my dryer was able to do it’s wonders .
The prop 65 warning for this machine says it can cause exposure to formaldehyde, benzene, and carbon monoxide. I am really chemically sensitive, so I'm wondering if that was an off gassing smell that went away after a day or so when you first unboxed it, or if there is any lingering chemical or plastic smell? If there was any noticeable smell, how strong was it?
just using mine for the first time . is there pauses when its doing the wash cycle ? mine goes for a bit pauses then goes again . not sure if this is normal.
Thank you for the review. I was wondering to know the width from the left side of the stainless steel part of the drum to the right side of the drum and then the bottom of the drum where the grey agitator is to the bottom of the grey ring that is at the top of the stainless steel drum
Hi - yes you do. I run a normal wash (2) and add the fabric softener between the 11-14 minutes remaining mark. You'll hear it filling up with water again at this point!
The only thing I wonder is if it's ok for your pipes to have pressure on them (like, I know it's alright for an outdoor hose, but is the pressure ok for your sinks?)
Now that I’ve had time to think about this the pressure is constantly on the pipes. All you’re doing is extending the pressure to the washer hose. Think of it this way when the water pressure is low hardly any comes out so for the water to come out there has to be a constant force on the pipes.
I just bought mine arrived today … but I’m not sure if I have to leave the water running while is washing? Or I need to check for every cycle to run the water and then close it? Tia
I leave mine on for the entire duration. There doesn't seem to be a problem when I do that. A person in the comment did mention that the pressure could cause some sort of damage but I haven't experienced it. If you're worried about it you can close and open it but I think it will be fine to leave it open.
Your review was very helpful. I bought one and I used it a couple of times. I think there might be something wrong with mine though because it seems to just be doing the rinsing cycle. Water keeps being added then it spins for like 4 seconds and water pours out again. Sometimes the time doesn’t go down, 5 minutes go by and it will still be at the same time it was when it started. When it finally gets down to 5 minutes it spins. Has this happened to anyone? I really hate to have to return it because I was so excited to get it.
@@willcastlereviews thank you for replying, I was able to figure out the problem. I was putting the drain hose to low. It was in the bathtub so it would drain as it filled. The washer detected that there was no water soon after filling since it would just drain out so it would fill up again. It was an easy fix once I figured it out.
Hi Tatia, I keep the water on the entire time and I've had no problems. If you are concerned you can shut off the water after the washer fills up but you'll have to turn it back on. Don't worry though the washer will not continue the cycle without water.
@@willcastlereviews YEP brand new from Amazon but the good news is they're giving me a refund and they told me to keep it it works but it makes a lot of noise and it shoots out a lot of water
To be honest I didn't even try to install it. It works fine without it. I'm not really sure what other purpose it has other than to protect the internals from being messed with. As long as it's not being flipped over and messed with you should be okay!
@@willcastlereviews I believe it would protect the dust from building up and eventually affecting the motor. I finally just screwed it on w the one screw and the other corner won’t stay flat . And the washer is great but it blew my apt outlet and I’m afraid to tell my landlord! Ugh. Solve one problem only to make 3 more, never fun. I have it on an heavy duty extension cord now.
Hey I live in a private house and my landlord is afraid that I might cause a water damage using this machine. I got a bigger one 2.0. Do you think there is a chance of causing it by connecting the hose to a faucet? Also if there is some sort of risk. Do you think I could just manually fill it with like two buckets of water and just repeat it during the rinse cycle? So I don’t involve the tubes and faucets
You can definitely fill it up with buckets! I have not had a problem leaving it connected to the sink but this can be different for other users. You can also turn off the sink after the washer is filling up to release any pressure from the pipes!
@@willcastlereviews Thanks so much for your reply. I received my 2.0 today and it’s actually huge lol so returning it and getting the smaller size like you have. Good to know I could use buckets as well. Thanks !
@@tas-life231 for my 0.9 machine it usually takes 2 full 15L buckets. Mostly depends on how much clothing I have so it’s either little more than 2 buckets or less
Love this review it's refreshing and inclusive everybody can see themselves use it, you should make more reviews And the little unevenness was a little bonus cause it saves calling the helpdesk Also I love that you left everything in even the dark screen, so good👍😂
I just didn't tighten it enough. You keep the rubber stopper in there for faucets that will screw around the connection rather than screw inside it. If you leave the rubber stopper in there, It hides the screw strips and it will be unable to connect. Trust me. it's the only way. Also when I double checked that it was tight, I turned it left and loosend it 3:35 lmao you can hear me say in the video "oh no"
@@willcastlereviews thank you for responding, I got the same one and needed to use the stopper lol so thats why I said that but can definitely see if it’s different types of sinks! So thank you for that.
God is NOT a God of confusion. A man trying to disgrace how women sound and act is very offending to me and a total distraction from what I came to the video for.
If you are so offended by his voice, then do us all a favor and get your homophobic ass off of this side of RU-vid. There are plenty of other videos out there where they talk about this machine.
STOP IT! CHRIST DIED FOR ALL SINS, EVEN THE ONES YOU COMMIT.
