I don't care what anybody says.... this is the best, most moving cover of this song I've ever heard on piano. .And I love to play this song too, but I'm not as good as this guy is. You, sir, have preserved the true soul of this song.. an artistic aspect that many others lack when trying to perform it..

I listened to quite a few of your pieces and I'm really amazed by the intensity and spirit you bring to the show, not to mention the technique itself. I'm not an expert and I don't play the piano myself, but being a big Pink Floyd fan, this cover really touches heart. The only thing that you could still improve with covers like this one: play a bit slower and with fewer keyes, especially in the beginning to match the softness of the original. But these are details, for sure. Very well done!

You don't need an iphone to get stuff off itunes. You can get itunes on a pc and then put the mp3 on whatever kind of music device you have.

I did give it out for free. But then I got contacted by a company saying that's illegal since even though they're my own covers of songs, I don't own the rights to the original song so I'd have to pay royalties for even giving it out for free. Which is ridiculous. Because it's a piano cover, not the original MP3. So I figured if I have to pay to give it out for free, I might as well just put it on iTunes and do this legally without getting in trouble.

Very good. I've been playing this song by ear myself for a while. If I might offer one suggestion: Work on your dynamics. Play a little quieter during the verse so that when the chorus comes along, you have more room to crescendo. All in all, I really enjoy listening to your covers. Your taste in music is as good as your skills on the keys.

I've been plunking at the sheet music version on and off since about 1980 and you just gave me a major inferiority complex dude. Anyhow, that was fantastic. There are few songs that move me like that one. Do Us and Them or Breathe!

only one thing I would add is more emphasis on the F# to the E (mainly on the F# since it's triumphant)

very impressive. I play by ear like you, but i'm a few steps back in skill. a word of advice however, during the solo, though they increase the overall sound, the right hand should be simplified, more concentrating on the main notes of the solo, not so much finger flipping and chords. trust me.

Why are Japanese people so crazy good at the piano and the violin? Would someone please explain that? The Italians invented both as we know them.... And don't try telling me I'm stereotyping when it's true. This guy even plays tennis, which is HUGE in Japan.

Wonderful interpretation :) Tackling classics like this and successfully interpreting (as in not marring the beauty of the song, which is so often and easily done when doing an instrumental solo interpretation) is so difficult. But you did it perfectly :) That sheet music coming soon ;P?
