Good grief! 10 little holes in that thing folks... Just 10. ...and this man can get it to sing out like it's got 88 keys plus a synthesizer!!! Wow. I' am yet again, in awe!
@briansis1 I mean to be fair this is a wilde tuned harmonica so it's slightly different but I by no means remove credit from mr wilde. this is nothing short of magic
Dude HOLY SHIT ….. I had no idea this was even possible. Shows how much I know! Haha. But what I do know is this guy just SMOKED THAT lead! Damn brother , what an incredibly fine job!
I'm 71 and pink Floyd addict since Hollywood bowl show of 1972. Heard the original hundreds of times and know every note. You honored it big time, felt it through your soul and I thank you for recording this with passion. MUCH respect!
Insane. This guy, this video and his blues jams made me think "I wanna play what he's playing" and now I have a harmonica and I'm learning how to play. Never have I ever thought I would own a harmonica because I thought it's for country music only. And country is good music but not entirely my cup of tea. But this solo hit my soul...
Heck yea I'm a rookie myself I taught myself to play listening to guitar solos hotel California has a great one for the ol tin sammich welcome to the community@@blueblue9410
My first video of yours was the Freebird solo. Ever since then whenever you pop up on my feed with another take on a guitar solo that I would normally try to process in my mind what it might sound like on harmonica before I hear it and say to myself 'there is no way', I don't say that. I just say out loud to myself "Alright man, lets go, lets do this", and you sir once again take me for a ride. Respect.
👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️OK, my mind is totally blown. I did not even know that was possible. You just took harmonica playing to a whole new level. I am astonished.
I sereached “harmonica solo” and RU-vid did not disappoint. If you have ever played the harmonica then you know exactly how difficult and impressive this is! Keep it up you have an awesome talent sir.
I woke up, got my morning coffee, sat down. It's my day off work. I open RU-vid, watch this as the caffeine slowly kicks in. I get a lump in my throat because it sounds so beautiful, pour myself another cup, watch it again. Will, the big crown on your logo is well-deserved.
Will Wilde. Awesome listening, because to my ears and heart you have captured in your harmonica playing/interpretation here the all important, and beautiful, and integral to have in this song, an expressive emotionality similar to that emotional expressiveness that I hear, and feel in the great David Gilmour's playing on "Comfortably Numb", and many many more of Pink Floyd's songs. Magnificent work Will transposing this song to harmonica and your playing. Superb ! Your playing of this song for the aforementioned reasons goes into my top 10 greatest songs category of nearly 73- years of music listening. I've now enjoyed listened to it 6 times. Brings tears of emotions to my eyes. Thankyou. ❤. RIP, Pink Floyd's the late great Roger Keith "Syd" Barrett since I'm now thinking of him and his "Free Form" approach to music.
MUCHAS GRACIAS por compartir... MAESTRO. ESTUPENDA versión de una de las mejores composiciones de uno de los más grandes grupos de la historia. Seguimos al pendiente se sus videos.
I just discovered you and I'm instantly subscribing. I love how there's no need for a single word in the entire video, the harmonica does all the talking, and boy the story it tells hits the soul with it's beautiful sound. Keep it up and send us more of your amazing talent!
This is one of the best guitar solos of all time, and perhaps the most heartrending. You do a magnificent job of interpretation, as usual. And as usual, I had to buy a Wilde Tuned B- immediately. Best wishes from Washington State, USA!
I’m certainly comfortably numb after watching and listening to that Will. As always, your dedication, talent and unbelievable skill to your craft shines through. Always a joy to listen to you. Brilliant. Thank you 👍🏻
Love how you imitate the sound a guitar makes when you lift all your fingers from the board with a lot of distortion. Absolutely blown away by this performance.
I've been thinking about what to write for about ten minutes, and I still don't know how to express what I'm feeling after listening to this wonderful performance, so I'll just say THANK YOU!!
