I would love to cuddle Key. He does seem more concerned with the fireworks than the scary movie. No fireworks in our area of Ontario, Canada. In fact, they have the Festival of Lights in Niagara Falls this time of the year.

What scary movie did you watch? Key didn’t seem too scared as long as you were right there… and of course sleeping through part of the scariness also helps. Such a cute fluffy boy!! Fireworks used to scare my dog & I’d comfort her but then I read we should just ignore them so doggie models our behaviour & starts ignoring them - I don’t know! Impulse is to pet them when they’re reacting.

There were a lot of explosions going on here, not just normal firecrackers, and my dog got really scared. The first time ever, but these "fireworks" were so heavy, that we could feel it, so I spend the whole time with him. He even was in my bed, next to me, which doesn't normally do. There were a lot of rise ups going on as well, where my friend lives, 500m from here, it was a war zone, between younger people and the police. This wasn't a happy old to new year for us. I hope they ban those kinds of fireworks. I was a long time in the military and get used to those kinds of explosions. But my baby doesn't.

Yep I used to be a performer and sing in part of a lot of Christian beautiful stuff at Christmas and New Year's and I gave all that up for my husky because of this very Point very frightening. To the point of people leaving them outside and them trying to break through glass hurting themselves to get hidden inside or lost and run awake cuz people left them out thank you for being the right kind of husky mom just like Jamie is with Sherpa, Keyes buddy! Would have been fun if you would have done NY eve together❤!

My lady was half laying in my lap, watching cinderella (she loves disney movies, and picks which one she wants to watch, considering she is named after a disney character from the lion king it is one of her go toos, her top 3 movies that I am almost rolling my eyes at now because I feel even I have seen them too many times now are, the Little Mermaid, Aladdin and the Lion King, but to ring in new year she chose Cinderella which was our first time watching it together, I rattle off a movie and she sneezes or puts her paw on my hand to say, that one mum, I am pretty sure I have now seen every disney movie thanks to my dog, its the top 3 I am almost sick of, mind you I do sing along and make her a part of the movie too as the songs are just too catchy, we have watched the Lion King and the Little Mermaid the most though, I do sing part of your world to her, because she is a rescue dog of 13 I have only had for 3 years, soon 4 in May, she still loves everyone she meets and when I tell them how old she is they go, no she doesnt even have grey hairs, I tell them, its her carrot addiction, its the only explination for my 13 year dog to look and act like a bloody 3 year old, I didnt know when I was rescuing her, she would be the reincarnation of bugs bunny!), tucked herself up on my lap and barely looked away from the movie except to give me a look of, mum you are staring at me, what is about to happen, about 1155pm I turned my tv up as loud as I thought I would get away with, she jumped when they started, but settled in when I wished her a happy new year and kissed all over her face while giving her her new years schmacho, and lickie mat, waited till 1230am, and turned the tv back down, I live right next to Edinburgh Castle, you try drowning out those fireworks, for a dog that can hear a bag of schmachos open from anywhere in the house, her ears and snozz are a bloody leathal combo, I like to hide treats (a schmacho cut up into 8 pieces), and tell her seek, she runs around sniffing then just finds every single little bit like it was the easiest thing in the world to do, she makes the hard stuff look like childs play, and all I tell her is hot or cold, she gets lows mids and highs and nails every treat everytime, if its carrot pieces it even faster! I woke up at 4am sitting up still holding a snoring doggo, pulled her blanket down and over her and snuggled back in, she is my special lady, who has a crush on your good boi, if I try to watch a video without her I get dirty looks and a wait there mum I wanna watch too, she is up and on me in seconds to see her crush on my phone screen

we know exactly how he feel we have a gsd who is very nervous and kids were out side throwing fireworks at 10.15pm so that started our night of our dog shaking and trying to hide in the most imposable places , it took us hours to calm him down

When I have pups RU-vid fireworks are played on the tv so they get used to the noise then when the fireworks start outside I take them out for a walk, they couldn’t care less about them.

It was new years eve at my place and the fireworks were going off non stop and they scare me too because i have extra sensitive hearing and so they make them sound like bombs going off!

I swear my husky doesn't respond to and of them He also doesn't talk like a husky.
