Bridgette if you think your thought process is crazy, move over you have a lot of company. I have a big smile on my face because I just hung an old cutting board over my fireplace mantle and added a dried herb and flower wreath onto the board. And all of that by shopping in my own home!!! Oh and I just tipped backed in my recliner. Yup at 82 a comfy chair is a must. Love your channel and your down to earth personality. Thanks so much.

This room looks beautiful! I love that you can actually have that big tv on the wall and yet it doesn’t take away from anything! The room is so nice and cozy. As much as I love the primitive straight up couches, to me they are not comfortable. I also have a big brown reclining couch in my living room which is so comfortable. I want to be comfortable when it is time to relax, and I always elevate my legs, so those gorgeous prim couches will never cut it for me, as much as I love them. You really did a great job on that room Bridgett!❤️ Maddalena

I'm watching this 6 months after the video was made so I don't know if you have made more changes, but I liked everything you did. The first set of pillows you placed on the sofa drew the colors of the primitive portraits perfectly and the blanket and chair pillow, drew in the black. Nice door camouflage! I love the more neutral palate.

Just watched your room redo. I now have a big screen TV in place of the mustard cupboard. I love it, as I got a mid 1800’s jelly cupboard for it to set on. Your room looks fabulous. I do need a bowl rack like the one you have. ❤️❤️

Awesome redo, so cozy and relaxing🤎. For me the family room, living room, den, etc…whatever we may have is the most challenging room to do. It’s a room that is used daily, hubby wants to feel comfortable in it too and rarely does that include primitive furniture, our accent pillows, coverlets, etc. They want a comfy chair, their TV and a place to set their things without moving things and should be able to have them. Good job! In my small apartment, I removed a couple closet doors and added macramé curtains. In the case of my double door bedroom one, I papered the back wall of closet and inserted an old dresser. Made area reminiscent of little side rooms I have seen in hotel rooms in some old westerns

I just love watching your creative genius at work! I have been watching since your first video and you have inspired me to take my old New England colonial back to its roots. I had followed the trends and gotten distracted by the farmhouse, hobby lobby vibe and you opened my eyes to what my old house is supposed to be. I have been busy repainting the walls and trim in colonial colors and shopping in my attic. Thank you for bringing us such beautiful homes and ideas each week!
