I’ve been playing GW2 on my Deck , whilst in bed and MrsMezzy is sleeping lol. I spent some time creating my own controller layout , that works for me 🥰. If I could give anyone any advice , it would be to explore the controller setup functions on the Steam Deck and make something personal to you. That way , you will remember what button does what lol. The virtual menu system helps greatly in MMO’s 🥰🥰🥰

I absolutely agree. They are really easy to play and still do a lot of damage at the moment. Let's hope the future balance patches bring a bit more variety back ;-)

ANet are very much aware of the issue, and have already taken steps to address the worst of it in balance patches this week ^^ Part of the problem is that running a power rifle build on mechanist has been extremely powerful with basically 0 user input, making it very appealing for people to play but completely ruining the game balance in the process. So ANet tried to address that directly by nerfing the damage of power mechanist in Tuesday's balance path, and then again on Wednesday by fixing a bug that was accidentally giving them more damage. Hopefully the build diversity should naturally start diversifying again as a result of this - if not I suspect ANet will take further measures in the future ^^

I think - visually speaking - it could be fixed if they're decreased in size and allow players to change the looks a bit so it's not just a copy pasted jade robot everywhere.

@@RQLexi Perhaps if they not only reduced the size of the mechs , but allow their owners to change their colours , make it easier to keep track of your own mech 🥳🥳🥳

(Also, the maths question I gave you that ultimately didn't make the final cut of this video was from the shortlist of 2019 International Math Olympiad questions, and arguably one of the hardest ones in the set. You may have done wisely in not including it :p You've got some really fun stories and answers in here ^^ )

If you're familiar with Vieta jumping and know the genre of problem well enough to intuitively introduce two extra variables, you're a lot of the way there already, and it's a really satisfying process! But I really hope she knows it was meant as a joke and saved herself the trouble 😂
