Quite the collection there. By the time I reached comic book buying age it was already taken over by the adults. We had lots of animated series, most likely made to sell action figures. Some of them were objectively good. Batman cartoon comes to mind with the jet black backgrounds and suspenseful orchestra soundtrack. Thanks for Sharing!

Wow! I don’t think I have seen that many comic books in one place since the last time I visited a comic store. I always search for under regarded ones like TOMAHAWK, BLACK HAWK, and LITTLE IODINE. Perhaps I am weird. Thank you. I always enjoy a flashback to childhood.

Those are some great comics. DC’s horror comics in the 70’s were the best. Nick Cardy did some fine covers for them. Witching Hour and Weirs War Tales were two of my favorites along with Weird Western. I suspect someone like you has quite a few issues of Jonah Hex. Thanks for showing the collection.

Never used to dig LEGION...but as I drift into middle age, I love them. My entry point was Mike Grell's Disco Legion. 11:54

Awesome collection. I collected baseball cards but never comics. A tad before my time but wish I would have, and kept my baseball cards. Oh well! Thomas, your vids are like a little treat. So like going to Papa’s basement/man cave. Full of treasures! Would love to bump into you some time and see all of your books. You are the man! Cheers buddy.

I hate telling this story because it's so Cliche. Once a month my mother would march myself and my three brothers to the drugstore to each buy a funny book. I couldn't even read but she still let me pick one to buy. I picked the one with the coolest cover. The Amazing Spider-Man! And each month until around 1975 I would buy an Amazing Spider man comic. I kept them all in order and I treasured them. I believe my collection started with Amazing Spiderman issue #2. After I graduated and moved out, my dear sweet mother threw all my Spiderman comics in the garbage! True story and I will Never mention it again. -Sad James
