The issue where Daredevil calls out “Peter!” was a great moment where Daredevil reveals he knows Spidey’s identity at the end of the “Who Killed Jean DeWolf”. Great moment from one of the best Spidey stories ever. Spectacular Spider-Man 110.
14 official printings of The Killing Joke and the one with the different cover is listed as Spanish; the 9th printing is the scarcest and most expensive (I have 7 printings, 7 to go). I think Boris The Bear satirised a range of genres and characters including the Punisher, Conan/Sword And Sorcery and Blackhawk. Evan, great choice with Alien Legion, still one of my favourite titles from the 80s.
Hey guys sorry I missed the show. That Killing Joke Harley is actually a variant to number 21 of the current series. It was probably mentioned in livestream already but definitely a good companion piece to The Killing Joke
adolescent radioactive black belt hamsters. shockingly i have the same story. bought new and been in the bag ever since. don’t forget cold blooded chameleon commandos, and gnatrat the dark knat returns. lol.
His work with Super Powers merchandise will always be my baseline of every DC character and how they should be drawn. Just a shame he didn’t have a long run somewhere
Lol John Bryne retconned X-men 145 saying it was a Doombot in FF 258. The real Doom would never have let stand Arcade strike a match on his armor. Doom destroyed the Doombot.
Evan would've really impressed if he had pulled out a Naive Interdimensional Commando Koalas or Death-Crazed Teenage Superheroes parody book. Weird to see the Hamsters book in someone else's collection. I thought I was the only idiot that bought that stuff in the '80s. Even worse, I still somehow held onto the TMNT parody books all these years (nobody wanted them) but didn't keep my copies of the early TMNT books themselves. Yes, I am (not) a smart man.
Hello gentlemen, Long time listener first time question. I have always been a casual comic book collector but in the last 5 years I have been buying big key silver age books. I was wondering if you both could recommend a credit card that would give you the most bang for your buck when it comes to purchasing big key books. Not only online but also at your local LCS. Thank you both for the hours of entertainment and knowledge on the hobby. ✌🏻
