thank you so cool. i was into comics a long time ago sold my whole collection. had some very nice ones in there that i found out were worth way more than what i traded them in for. yeah most were not that valueable. but i had several. like sliver surfer special cover for both the 25th and 75th aniversary, and the embossed white cover fantastic 4. i was big into punisher...pretty much all my comics were punishers. all fair mint or near mint...sold all if it for about 100 dollars in store credit What a awful mistake...but now i am back at it...starting with Spawn again, joker, harley, green lantern. basically where i left off with my old collection. because that is what i started to get into when i stopped.
Just get yourself an Overstreet price guide, published yearly. You can carry it with you anywhere you go, and that's when you need it most, when out an about. Online sales is one way, but you're not going to go through this for every potential deal you come across. It's difficult to see every nook and cranny of an online image unless you actually download it to your PC with monitor worthy of the task. --- BTW, never go by what people are asking for a book. Go buy what's been sold if you must go online... I say this redundantly because I've seen idiots at non-comic shops (book dealers, etc) pointing to the ripoff price and attempting to sell at the ripoff price. Carry the guide. Don't Half-Price Books in Roundrock (for example) screw you.
