It's really cool how Lucy looks up so much to Sigourney Weaver for her portrayal of Ripley, and how she in turn has many fans who look up to her for her portrayal of Xena. I sincerely hope Lucy knows how much precedence she set for strong female characters and female-centric plots in television - Xena was one of the few kick-ass powerful female onscreen during that time. It was after Xena that many other such characters and plots arose, and that is one of the reasons why Lucy is so iconic in television history.
I’m here to make a eco to my latina friend. We really love Anna Torv and she is such sweet and talented person. I think that if this panel were today, Anna would have a lot to talk about women driving or writing due to their roles in secret city and the newsreader, which bring incredibly strong and complex women.
I just love ms Kristin Kreuk - she has some great perspectives on life and women. I Like the fact that she stays true to herself and her own beliefs, instead of just doing as the public wants. To me that is a great rolemodel, for girls and Young women groning up.
Oh thank you, this was very well done, makes one feel like they were there too! And yes Anna was so cute, love Lucy too, and I now love Sarah more sense watching this, I didn't know much about her before The Walking Dead, other then when she was on Prison Break! I liked all of them one the panel, like how they acted and all, even though I haven't watched SmallVille or True Blood , I liked them anyway! But I have seen Twilight, though Nikki wasn't a favorite, K.Stewart is,lol! still like her too!
Yeah also want to say this was better then last years choices, Anna was the only one I cared to see last year! I wonder if they will ask Anna again next year, just because Fringe is ending is no reason for them not to have her, or for the Fringe cast not to maybe come there themselves for the fans, like the Stargate SG 1 cast does. I don't mean every year but at least next year and then after a couple years they can get together there again, it would be cool!
this panel was after Sarah shot her death scene but before her death episode aired, so she basically lied her way through this panel and twd season 3 panel. amazing.
+Edward Carnby what are you talking about?? I've been a fan of Sarah since season 1 of Prison Break and she's my favorite actress. I said how amazing she is because she wasn't allowed to give away any season 3 spoilers so she lied her way through comic con. She even said it herself "I had to lie my way through Comic Con". She had to think fast and lie every time someone asked her about Lori's death and I really appreciate her ability to think so fast.
Where's Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) oh, and Lucy Lawless is one of the most bad-ass actresses out there! I mean, she got arrested and she doesn't care what happens!
Hollywood actresses that get paid pornographically obscene amounts of money for doing very little are good role models? If you want a female role model for women of all ages, try Ayaan Hirsi Ali. It's genuinely disappointing that many in the hall had probably never heard of that name.
