Your copyright dislaimer mentions "fair use" but what's *not* fair is how supremely talented you two are at this editing thing. You and Dennis have the slickest styles going around, and it's once again thanks to a combination of everything; the parallels, the pacing, the cutting at exactly the right moments, the clips you use, the overall inventiveness, the sound editing. Sweet Jesus, THE SOUND EDITING. I dub this the inaugural and undisputed king of action collab videos. (Because I somehow have the power to do so, and intangible things can now be kings.)
Grable424 Aw shucks. Well, your work evokes and truly deserves them. Spoiler alert: I pay veteran freelancers ungodly sums of money to write these comments for me. If I ever turn out homeless, pathetic, and insane like Rickety Cricket, now you'll know why.
I love how a lot of the action moments (Loki hitting a guy with his staff,Eggsy putting someone into the ground, etc.) seem to line up with the beats of the music! It's really cool to do something like that.
THIS is seriously about one of the greatest superhero videos I've seen. Love all the action sequences and the editing was mastered. I only wish it was longer-- with even more heroes and villains and just more awesomeness!!
This video should have way MORE viewers than this! It should have several millions! And that is not exaggeration, this is art. You have not just made an amazing video, but this is also some kind of commercial marketing. People who watch this may actually want to see many of the movies that is in it. I know this because me and people I know have actually done that. Congrats this video is beyond amazing. I absolutely love it!
I can fully and honestly say that this is the absolute best and most amazing music video I have ever seen that has been made for this song (and considering the song, that is indeed saying something). The timing is next to perfection and the sound editing is phenomenal. And I personally found it to be great that you both included comic book movies that were not strictly DC or Marvel such as Sin City by Dark Horse, Kingsman/The Secret Service and Kick-Ass by Icon, and Scott Pilgrim by Oni Press. (I do not have anything against DC or Marvel, it is just nice to see other comic book series/movies being shown off as well.) The only way I can think of this video being any better is if Hellboy was added into the mix, but that is purely in my opinion. All in all, you two did a spectacular job with this video. Well done! :) (P.S. You have just earned yourself a new subscriber.) (P.P.S. Feel free to replace all of the periods in this comment with exclamation marks.)
Never knew kingsmen is a comic adaption too^^ Great vid, keep it coming. Must have been a hell of a job to rip all the scenes from the movies or trailers xD
At first I didn't think the song fit at all, then I kept watching.... Amazing! Makes me actually want to watch all these movies.... And the ending was perfect!
Should have had Hit Girl saying "Shows Over Mother Fucker" as the ending of the video as she shoots the viewer, or at-least it looks like she does. Other than that it was awesome. Love all the movies and the song choice.
I love you for making this video as great as it is, even my kids like watching it over and over with me. Whos'e the woman at 3:04? Never mind the people saying you couldv'e added blahblahblah from god knows where, the vids awesome as it is :).
This is astoundingly good; not only are the clips perfectly edited in time with the music, but the inclusion of sound from some of them puts this on a whole 'nother level of perfection. The choice of movies used, when they're used and the song used was nothing short of inspired. I've watched every collab video you have on this channel, and your work with djcprod is the best editing I have seen for fan videos on this website since its inception. You two have a brilliant eye for detail and I continuously look forward to both your collaborations and solo endeavours! *Likes and favourites vid*
+Alex .Tena Uhh, no, not really. The film didn't even try to stick to the source material, and the video itself was focusing on action, which Watchmen doesn't exactly have a ton of. Plus, more Watchmen would have meant less room for the other clips.
Samuel Martin WELL DUH, I WASN'T REPLYING TO YOU!!! I'M NOT STUPID!!!! I read Watchmen, I know what it is, otherwise I wouldn't have pointed out the film didn't stick to the original Graphic Novel.
this is by far my favorite edit out there. You can really tell how much effort you put when deciding what clips to use, and where and which sounds would be best at the right time. Props dude
Really late comment, but this is absolutely the best fucking video I have ever seen. The editing on this is definitely on point and should be recognized for its greatness. Saying good job doesn't even seem like enough praise for such a highly well made video. Honestly. Great work, I hope you've continued this level of amazingness in your life, because it would be sad to see such talent go to waste.
