Well, the audio was far too hot in the mix, but we'll sort it out for next time. That's what a test is for, right? Thanks for checking it out! Rock and Roll
Hell yeah. I played music for a long time and spent lots of time rehearsing in studios just like this and hanging out in others with my friends bands as well. Feels like I'm chilling on the couch while they rehearse. Good times all around.
Amazing how far we've come since these guys came out. The phone had a dial on it and was mounted on the wall in the kitchen. Had to get a ride to the record store to hear new music. Had five TV channels.
But on the real thats a great point! Im glad you said that. Some times i forget to stop and smell the clutch live stream on my pocket computerthat has a complementary weak ai assistant.
One of the few bands that have managed to evolve and refine their craft but never lose that original fire that made them so good to begin with. Don't even get started on their live capabilities... not a touring band out there that plays gigs with the same passion every single night, every single tour... none except Clutch. The fact that you can find Neil guest vocals on everything from Mastodon to Dozer shows they pay it forward and respect the music. Inspiration doesn't begin to describe their countless contributions. Thank you for this...
Coincidentally yesterday I stumbled onto S.O.A.D.'s concert in Armenia. I love every album but I'm watching this thinking "this is why I never cared about going to concerts." They didn't play bad, but everything sounded like a cheap knock off version with no sense of rhythm. No growls or screams from Serj and he's putting inflection on the wrong words. The band is doing the same and everything sounds flat. But then there's Clutch. Every live recording I've heard or seen is full on album quality sound and effort. All of the emotion is there. If you like a song on an album, you'll love it live.
DrewT92377 very nicely sliced and stated indeed!! Yess was so good to see the boys droppin the Clutch today! Motivated me to work out! And than play my drums! 🥁👍🍻✊️ Be well and turn your power up!:)
For a rock veteran in one of the tightest, longest running rock outfits going, I think it's kinda cute how out of his element Neil seems to be addressing a camera. Still killed it though!
I've seen clutch over two dozen times live and even on the same tour they dont play the same set twice. Unbelievable catalog of music and have done nothing but evolve into a better and better band without losing themselves. thank you guys for this you're saving all of us gearheads from our clutch withdrawals, and live music withdrawals in general.
@Scott Clam they asked for constructive criticism. A lot of bands have been live streaming and sounded great. The sound here was pretty rough. That's all I'm saying.
The audio levels and sound mix need serious, serious work. Other than some slight strain on his voice during Willie Nelson though, they sounded very tight.
I left work early to come home and put on pajamas, grab a beer and watch a 3 song Clutch show live with a cat in my lap. Best. Decision. Ever. You guys f’ing rock .. and my cat (Carrie Pawter) agrees.
It clearly was just a few drunkards so stoked too see the band that they accidentally got the wrong button ...i mean they probly saw a few Xtra buttons ....it happens...CLEARLY CLUTCH IS SUPREME ...must have been a slobern accidental downing of sad drunkards thumbz
First heard "Escape from the Prison Planet" on the radio driving home from law school in the 1990's. The song's lyrics made me laugh while its riff made me appreciate how different their music was from anything else on the radio. Needless to say, once I became a fan.
One of the greatest American rock bands of my generation. Every show delivers, and always found their openers better than most too. Saw The Sword open for them, ridiculous! Also for the NC folks a band called Tusker(not sure if they’re still around) was great. Thanks a ton for all the memories and the moments still to come.
@FiddleOfGold no shit, we may have. I lived around all over, Archdale, High Point, Wilkesboro, up around Boone for awhile, shit man, I'll throw back an extra beer for ya, Stay safe out there!
Who needs more cameras ? The sound was fine, I was feeling like I was a guest in rehearsals. We just need more tunes whenever you feel like it ! (Hot Bottom Feeder or Electric Worry among many others comme from the top of my mind)
Loreli The Regulator Subtle Hustle The Face A Shogun Called Marcus The House that Peterbilt Texan Book Of The Dead Drink to The Dead Sinkemlow Or any others really
All of these plus The Wolf Man Kindly Requests Ghost Worm Drink Paper and Strife Ghoul Wrangler Unto the Breach DC Sound Attack The Colossus Elephant Riders The Yeti And every other song too 😅
Life is very mysterious. I listened to Clutch all through nursing school (like every day) to keep my sanity. Now I'm a nurse in the field at this stressful time and Clutch is still rocking my world!!! Thank you for this!!!
Thank you so much for what you are doing.......glad that you were able to enjoy these short moments with a great band who are ALWAYS good to their fans
I've always been a fan of Clutch, but once I saw them live, they immediately made the ranks in my top 5 bands of all time. The talent and energy they bring is incomparable. Thank you for this, gentlemen.
I've maybe left 3 RU-vid comments in my life, including this one. I love this band as much as Zeppelin, Floyd, or Sabbath, and seeing this makes isolation a little easier. Thank you guys!
At first I thought you were talking about the line in *50000 Unstoppable Watts* and I thought 𝑊ℎ𝑦 𝑤𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 ℎ𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑘 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡? 𝐻𝑒 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤𝑠 ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑎𝑦𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑜𝑛𝑔, then I noticed the video title again, didn't immediately link the two. I can be slow sometimes. Also, thanks, didn't get the quote in that line until now.
Sitting here sipping Four Roses, sanding down an end table I made from hard maple and watching Clutch play live with the promise of more. Life is good.
just wanted to say "Cumin atcha live" by Tesla was the first live song I ever heard. The Ulster Hall, Belfast, 1987. What an intro to live music. This, this here, is like The Who playing in your front room and as such a very gracious, personal reach out to everyone. Much appreciated at this time. As Saxon said, denim and leather, brought us all together.
Yes! ❤️❤️ I can almost feel the atmosphere of a live show... Which btw, is one of the most amazing things I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing...Clutch live, yes indeed.
You guys are my favorite band. I saw you at a club called goat's head soup in Houston, TX in October 1993. I have lost count how many times I've seen you since, but in 2018 I was especially blessed to bring my kids to a Clutch concert at house of blues. You guys need to release the rest of your back catalogue on vinyl. I have been battling ALS for two years I just turned 49 but I don't know if I will make 50. It would surely be sweet to hear transnational, self titled, elephant riders, and PRF on vinyl before I take a dirt nap.
I took my son to see Clutch for the first time in December 2019, he loved it and rocks his Clutch t-shirt every time he can. Sounded good and hope to see Clutch soon!
That was rad. I echo the comments below - that felt like being a guest in your rehearsal room. I would be perfectly happy to have that again but with many more songs. No changes required :)
I needed this, so, so much. Thank you , fellas. Much love to all of you and your families. Please be safe and keep this up! I will happily pay whatever you want for a full show. You feed my spirit!!!
was supposed to see you fellas next week in Flint. Would have been my 36th clutch show since 92' back we we had hair and were skinny. so needed this. ty ty ty ty ty ty ty ty ty ty ty ty ty ty ty tyty ty cant wait to see you when the world is healed.
"Hit the subscribe button. Can't believe i just said that" - Not a RU-vid fan Neil?? 😂😂😂 Awesome by the way. I'm sure once you watch/listen back you'll fix the mix a little but that was really great!
Clutch. We need you like a bird needs wings. I'll never forget hearing you guys about 25 or more years ago and have been a diehard fan since.Coming at ya from Tn.I was really hoping to see y'all in Knoxville.
Been a fan since Transcontinental released. Clutch is criminally underrated. Clutch live-streams are what we all need right now. Thanks for all the jams.
I don't know why but I don't like "music videos" that are directed and all that. This is the best video and audio to watch. Real band rocking out in a rehearsal room. Worth nothing that Clutch is on fire, keep it like that for years to come!
2:34 - 50,000 Unstoppable Watts 6:56 - El Jefe Speaks 11:12 - Willie Nelson And for what it's worth, I've been watching a lot of at home live stuff and this is one of the better mixes I've heard by a lot, even if it wasn't perfect: great job, guys!
Clutch is up there among my favorite bands ever since I heard "Escape from the Prison Planet" on the Escape From LA movie soundtrack. They never disappoint whether it be on Vinyl, CD, digital music, live or now on RU-vid. I haven't been able to make it to a live show in while so this was a good little fix for that part of my life that has been missing.
Missed this live, but just watched and really needed this. Mum is in a care home with dementia and we've just learned she's tested positive for covid 19. Amazing how good music can lift you..Look forward to seeing you again in the UK when things return to normal❤🏴
I had a rough day today and this is one of the best things I experienced for a long time. I was on every concert you gave in Poland and hope to see you soon live again! Stay safe, stay healthy, be awesome as always
been ghost'n youtube for over a decade, but had to fire it up official in order to show sum love. you guys been my soundtrack since i was a teen, and rock'd me through so much. big time love and appreciation from an undisclosed location to the north
Up here in ole Canada......you guys absolutely Rock it! Unbelievable vibe and teamwork.....you guys keep it up because there is/are no one and I mean no one.....like the mighty CLUTCH! Thank you !
I have been a fan since you guys played at the birch hill. My favorite place was the circle line in NYC when JP signed a drumstick for me. I still have it and display it in my living room. Love you guys
