Best metal band of all time in my book. They never mellowed, never sold out, never went against their values just to sell more records. Slayer are the hardest thrashing metal band of all time. The best!
Just seen them in Tampa a couple of months ago. Been a fan since the beginning. I am 49 and that was the classiest goodbye speech from Tom. Hats off to Slayer.
F'N SLAAAYER, I can't wait, my Favorite group of all time, I've seen them twice in the last 3yr and I need to check'em out one more time. Come on back to the Carolinas guys!
@Michael Higgins I am hoping like crazy that they sweep through the USA one last time before they end the Farewell tour, I LOVE them but never had a chance to see them live, the downside of living in the NYC-NJ Metro area, always very expensive and never quite the right time and I'm no youngster, I was in my early 20's when Slayer & Megadeth came out....seen Megadeth 7 times but never could catch a break with my schedule and Slayer's and it's killing me!! 😛😍🔥🔥🔥🎸🎸🎶💖💓🍀🍀🍀
Mr. Araya, the little moment you shared with the audience after the concert at Merriweather Pavilion in MD will stay with me forever. Slayer as a band may be almost twice as old as I am, but it makes no difference either way. If this is the end of a chapter, I'm sure it's the start of another amazing story for you and everyone else involved.
I'll call it now to being the final Official video to the Final Album of the final world tour for SLAYER ! Long live the King(s) of Thrash, Tom, Jeff, Kerry, Dave, as well as Phil,Jon,Paul and not least Gary thank you so very much for being SLAYER, creating recording and performing everything you have for us fans. Your final World Tour stopping by in Paramatta Sydney Australia at the Download Festival 2019 was a phenomenal end to my travels from New Zealand to see one of your last performances. Tom Araya, i was very moved by your interest in soaking up the last view of your audience at the end of Slayers main stage top of the bill performance, I (we the audience) enjoyed your last physical visual goodbye, thank you so very much. Love you guys, Forever part of SLAYER NATION ARMY.
EPIC FREAKIN TRAILER ! ! ! Last scheduled show I can find is Oct 11 in TN. The last several dates are all huge festivals around the North and South American areas. Could be a live video/movie thing to say we're out. Or maybe a farewell studio album. BOTH would be cool with me. ;)
I'm 16 and I'm Brazilian, unfortunately I will not be able to go to any of your shows here and I'm very sad because my only chance to see them live has gone by water down, but anyway thank you for everything, you are incredible.
I am thinking this could be one of threes things - 1) A new album 2) An ending video based on the one-eyed prison escapee storyline- Repentless, You Against You, and Pride in Prejudice. Which became a comic. 3) A full-length movie based on the comic.
É triste ver esse vídeo...mas compreensível, foram tantos anos, infelizmente o que houve com Jeff...Tenho a esperança que possam voltar e fazer um álbum mais insano do que o outro!Hug from Brazil!!!
bro I need to see Slayer one more time Lol I can't get enough of these guys, plus I only just got enough money for meet and greet tickets so it's a plus if there's more dates
South Los Angeles CA the best the most influential metal band to spawn so many new bands only slayer could achieve such remarkable success araya, hammond, king and so on it's been an honor. Slayer greatest trash metal band ever 🇨🇱🇺🇸
They shall never die because they are those who pass the torch in the knowledge and ways of the METAL, from them, to us, to YOU... RIP Jeff and much love to SSSLLLAAAYYEYERRGGHH!! /w\SlayeriZer/w\
Iv been part of the Slaytanic Wehrmacht Family since their Thunderous sound first entered my ear drums back in 1985 at the tender age of 15. When Slayer goes away, so will I...RIP to Jeff, he will be hovering over their exit plan...
Wow! With great difficulty I've accepted the end of this band as a touring act but this gives me (false perhaps) hope Slayer won't be *completely* done. I would, for example, continue to buy new music for as long as they'd want to "drop" it🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
OH f*ck, finally , I have 12 years and I love this Band , I guess that I will go to your concert In SP , finally... :3 I will waiting for this since 3 years ago... I wish I could go to the concert... Well, I will continue to enjoy your music with my father! :3 7w7
Ffs, you people are dense. That's Danny Trejo narrating, who was in the Pride And Prejudice video mini film trilogy. It's a comic book story/mini film, the final chapter to the trilogy videos/graphic novel that was released. It's not another fucking album. Fucking spergs
My gut tells me that is Danny Trejo in the video. He's the actor who was in a few Slayer videos, including the prison scene in Repentless. Felon to actor...love that guy...RU-vid has his story...search it.
Its him doing the voiceover, but I think it's the eye patch protagonist in the video. Im hoping for a full length or even short film telling his characters story.
The only Brazilian concert will be in São Paulo and as I live in Santa Catarina due to my lack of money I won't be able to go, it's going to be though to see Slayer so close yet so far away
I predict it is their very final show, which will be a festival event with Slayer headlining. Maybe even Metallica as support, as they show their respect for their Big 4 brothers. I'm not much into coincidences, and Hetfield posted a video of himself jamming to Slayer while driving last week.
Ohhh fuck here we go booyyyysss FUCKING SLAYER!!!! Hope this new album has more reign in blood and hell awaits vibes to it , but still its slayer so im gonna be hyped no matter what
Slayer broke so many molds. My favorite is how most bands' 1st release is their best. Slayer just got better and better. Relentless crushes and I'm a big Gary Holt fan now. Looking for a thrash drummer south of Denver who wants to write original stuff in this style.
