After delivering the baby or should I say c-section, everything became much easier and smoother. One big hurdle that, I think, many people struggle with is having the baby learn how to latch on to eat properly. Couple of cessions with lactation consultant was super helpful. Mama also started her healing process after all that cutting. After 48 hours we finally got to go home and spend our evening home.

You just went through some serious physical trauma, and please be gentle with your body and expectations. It took 9 months for your body to grow, and it will take a bit for it to shrink. I think you look beautiful.

Were there complications with your surgery? I have had 6 C-Sections and with the first 5 I was back to jogging by day 3 lol, with my twins it took almost a week to start exercising again because my stitches kept ripping. Ouch! Was just curious to hear about your experience!

@@hannahjessica8251 Yes hun my first c section was an emergency then my wound became infected spent 3 weeks in hospital because the wound reopened after it became infected my second c section was more painful afterwards but I healed very quickly and was out within 5 days my fist I had staples the second was stitches which I think made the diffrence those staples are not comfortable

I was already walking the next day. I was told that If I started moving, recovery time was going to be shorter. I didn't feel exactly pain, but I felt really awkward, something like I was trying to manage a body that wasn't mine. I couldn't walk with normal motion, I was dragging my feet.

My mother used tell me how fast time goes by and i was like yeah ok momma, but oh how she was right, i remember coming home from hospital with mine, and now they are 30 and 25, soak in it, i remember every milestone, from walking to talking to first days of school to college graduations, enjoy honey, hes absolutely beautiful!!

I have about 8 weeks till my little one is supposed to make her arrival and I can’t wait. I’m the same way as you when it comes to a “plan” I just plan to have a healthy baby no matter what that takes. I am a little nervous to birth during the virus lock down. I’m very much a huge family person and wanted to be surrounded by all my loved ones but I love how intimate it seemed with just the two of you. Thank you for showing us so much!

Aww, congratulations on your sweet baby. You are in a mommy bliss world. Doesn't matter how tired or how much pain you are in, all of that just melts away. Don't be worried if you go through a week or two of feeling depressed and crying for no reason, it is normal as your hormones fluctuate. I went through the "baby blues" after all 3 of my babies were born. If it lasts longer than 2 weeks it may be post partum depression, which you may need medical help for. Don't be embarrassed because it is real. I pray it doesn't happen to you, but the first 2 weeks is normal to feel down and cry. Also, I can't believe you were able to show your skincare routine after all you went through. You are beast woman!!!

You look gorgeous, momma! Just be careful with the incision. Two weeks after her c section, my aunt got it infected. I remember being so sore after mines. Getting out of bed was hard. I didn’t want to take any pain meds. Be careful momma. Baby needs you to be healthy.

I’m thankful for you that you got to spend that time with baby right after he was born! Our little guy went to the nicu so I missed out on all of those special bonding moments for his first two weeks. That was hard! The fact that you can walk after a 5 days labour and a c section is good. All the walks before and during the pregnancy kept you active so the body can recover faster.

The tape sucks! I was even finding spots of glue a week after i gave birth to my daughter on may 21st. The swollen thing lasts for a few weeks... i was pumped full of so much fluids in the four days i was in labor that even my face was swollen. My shoes to wear home from the hospital wouldn’t even fit. You can never have too many swaddles or burp cloths! In the 3 weeks that Ive had my daughter... its nice to have more than not enough, so your not doing laundry all the time.

I absolutely love your mindset even though your birth did not go according to plan, you are just happy that you and baby are ok. I was the same when my planned c-section did not go according to plan. In hindsight it was scary but at the same time baby and I were okay and healthy at the end.

Milana take care yourself Takes 6 weeks outside to heal & 2 years inside so dont get heavy ,stuff or even moping,sweeping and no stretching as in laundry stuff as it can open again ,rest, sleep take your time once u are in the comfort zone ( your house) sleep as your swollen legs will go back to normal ..... had 3 c section myself ...had experience

jordana ward - I think everyone handles c-sections differently. There are a few weeks of taking it fairly easy, but I had my staples removed after 2 weeks. And as far as 2 years to heal on the inside, I had another child less than 2 years after each of my sections.
