I remember crying my eyes out on our drive back from our holiday in Turkey. It was past midnight, we were waiting to pass through border control and a guy dressed in shredded clothes came forward and offered to clean our windscreen and windows. Whilst he was cleaning, I swear to you, I don't think I had ever seen someone so exhausted in my life. There's loads of people on foot selling goods in traffic in Europe and I had seen many before him. But it was the time of night that did it for me, the expression on his face and the sheer TIREDNESS in his eyes that made me burst into tears. I wonder how many mouths he has to feed. It doesn't matter where you are in the world or how much you have in your pocket, if you do not remain humble, you have lost yourself. You can say I'm being extra if you want, but what he did was appalling. You should never treat somebody like that.
