"Mortimer and randolph, they need their own movie" They HAVE their own movie! But I am sure the title has already been pointed 200 times or so at the time of writing.

according to the fandom wiki: "Randolph and Mortimer Duke are the two main antagonists of the 1983 film Trading Places [also by Landis], and minor characters in the 1988 film Coming to America. They are the greedy, heartless owners of "Duke & Duke", a successful commodities brokerage in Philadelphia"

You guys kind of talked over it, but the opening credits music is the song "Mbube", by South African Zulu artist (and at the time a cleaner and record packer) Solomon Linda - it was one of the first major songs from Africa to be a huge hit: the title we know it by is either "Wimoweh" or "The Lion Sleeps Tonight". The group performing this version is the multiple awards-winning group Ladysmith Black Mambazo, and as it uses the style that was founded by this melody it's closer to the original song than any of the American variants.

8:25 I sometimes forget that younger people didn't grow up seeing Eddie Murphy on Saturday Night Live every week, playing a lot of different characters (including James Brown), so that is why it's easier for you to miss when when he and Arsenio are made up like other characters. But the end credits will tell you, and I'm guessing now it's going to be a surprise.
