This might be a noob question but... How did you get it in that resolution without it changing the game speed?

Open options.ini on C:\Users\username\Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Data folder, then find Resolution filter and type number like this; Resolution = 1024 768 (Or you can set resoultion max depending on your screen)

It moves too slow. Its not blitz style like in Red alert 2. Yoi cant tighly group units because they all stop/turn to avoid hitting eachother. Once again, bullshit "realism" ruining gameplay.
