Hi, just a small correction here. The single & sign is actually to run the command prior to the & sign in the background. sleep 10 will be inside the main shell, and since the back-end is waiting for the shell command to complete, the duration of the time to complete will actually be the duration of sleep 10 since the previous part was executed in the background
