Just a friendly suggestion, but I would replace all regular Swamps with Snow-Covered Swamps and adding Extraplanar Lens. So you basically double your mana output and since almost nobody normally uses Snow-Covered Swamps, no one else would get that mana boost but you.

I was there when Champions of Kamigawa released. I made a deck full of rats, and was able to summon marrow gnawer and ink eyes easy. I made friends pissed.
Only card I would consider cutting for something else is Diabolical Tutor. It’s too slow imo. Thanks for this list! Gives me ideas on my future rat deck!
This price is a little impractical, you could definitely do without the vampiric tutor for starters, also species specialist is an excellent source for card advantage
I love how invasive a marrow gnawer deck can be. I doubling cubed up to 48 mana, I milled my bros out for 45, cast 12 relentless rats which triggered bontu’s monument, then instead of prolonging the inevitable i sacked 4 rats with ashnods altar and cast akromos memorial and gave them all haste with trample. I did 233 damage that turn. I needed new clothes after that game.
This is not correct according to the Oracle rulings for Urborg. Supertypes are not affected by Urborg. However, non-swamp basic lands become basic Swamps with it in play.
