FYI..Linvala does not shut down ninjitsu. She only applies to creatures on the battlefield.

I was going to say this. She did shut down Krenko and Fauna Shaman, so still a good play at least.

@@54m0h7 she should’ve shut down the llanowar elf too, it’s one of the rare times that mana abilities are also turned off. Luckily it didn’t seem to matter this case

Nice game. And yeah mind's eye is expensive to cast but it def worked out for ya there! Very reasonable to include it in the deck.

I'm not a huge fan of Mind's Eye either, but for Mono Red it's not bad card draw. Every other color has better options.

Great video as always. Mind's Eye is pretty good in my opinion. 5 mana down, then you draw 3 for 3 each round. Good value if it sticks.

Fair point… but that’s 8 mana for 3 cards. Is that reeeeallly worth it? Plus, if you play it on curve, you aren’t drawing those cards that turn anyway cause you tapped out to cast it. Convince BK! Lol 😂

@@mostlycasualcommander I think of it like Bootleggers Stash. It's a value play, where I get nothing now, but get a ton later. Spend your 5 mana, then until it is dealt with, you may draw at least 3 each round. A but slow, but BK made it work.

I've thought about crafting a deck with either Krenko or Purphoros. You may have inspired me to check out my bulk to see if I can put something together!

Tectonic Reformation seems like a decent card for drawing in mono red. Currently testing it out in Magda. I'm also testing out Endless Atlas. Seems like Mind's Eye has the potential to be very explosive, but 5 mana is a bit steep I guess

You probably already know of it, but symmetry matrix from BRO set, would go great in your mob boss deck. Any deck where lots of even power/toughness creatures are spat onto the board really. 4 mana for a colorless artifact that lets you pay 1 colorless and draw a card whenever a creature with power = to its toughness enters the battlefield.

at 8:20 u should have cast purphous before u tapped krenko allowing to ping for 6x 2... just saying! i love krenko ,i have a krenko deck , it was my second deck i ever built myself... LOVE IT BUT Goblins are STRONG MY FRIEND AND MY FRIENDS HATE PLAYING IT...since i have a turn 1 win ...using gemstone caverns turn zero,then,mana crypt,sol ring,mountain,then u gotta play treasonous ogre and ligthing crafter tageting something...its a werid line.
