At 25:49, that noise Blake made is the sound of his soul leaving his body, realizing that CGB's entire deck is just boardwipes and creature hate.

Some stats of the Game: Cgb Proliferated 39 Counters (Ignoring the vow counters) 3 Times with thrumming bird and 12 times with Flux Channeler. Jayas Pheonix was reanimated 3 times and copied 6 abilities. Honor worn Shaku untaped 14 times and produced 21 mana. And Guff dealed a total of 38 damage and drew 38 cards. Icon of Ancestory was activated 3 times and hit once out of 26 Slivers that hit the board 8 managed to attack First time I see guff go off like this and also first time I see Sliver Gravemother and Anikthea do so little. Most games I saw and played the enchantress deck went crazy.

This has become my favorite commander show. In person, major friend-vibes, great production value, easy to follow and great mix of banter and plain good magic (non, or little, of that commander "let's do something stupid for the lulz" stuff). Thanks for your really awesome entertainment! As an idea: maybe put a turn counter somewhere? Have never seen a commander show do that and I think it would be a really nice indicator for people to get a grasp (over time) for the whole powerlevel thing. Maybe even implement it into turn zero talk...make a prediction when the deck can win and see how it pans out.

Missed the best part of mirage mirror at 52:20. Mirror is being targeted by a spell that specifies a card type the spell cant target. This means you can turn mirror into the card type the spell can't target (in this situation, an enchantment), and then your mirror will not get removed by the spell. This trick also works against things like maelstrom pulses and anguished unmakings, because you can turn the mirror into a land, and then it's not a nonland permanent.

We managed to showcase 1 (Maybe 2??) of the 4 precon decks today.

That striking sliver was a 2/2 with the anthem out so it could not have been pinged.....

That play by Blake at 39:45 is why I want to add an Anointed Procession or Doubling Season/Parallel Lives to the Sliver Swarm.

This is the first time after seeing multiple games with this set of precons that I’ve seen the Guff deck pop off. The Eldrazi and Sliver decks can get out of hand quickly and makes you the enemy quick. I really like the enchantress deck though.

I am very surprised about the winner! Didn't think it would have been that deck to win out of the box.

This was a very cool game!! Never thought that the superfriends deck to do very well, but a lot of the new cards in that deck was sweet to see in action!!

And it is just like I said to my friends. The planeswalker deck is much better than everyone thought when just previewing the decklists

I wish we saw a bit more from eldrazi deck, the decks are new so no blame for Ben not remembering to draw more with cards he had. Great game still! Planeswalkers are always scary, specially in CGB's hands

That was insano-bananas. Fav is the superfriends, but shea's enchantress comm is sweet, and the eldrazi I could see being very powerful (and slivers are slivers)

I generally don’t like to play superfriends bc as soon as anything hits the field ppl tend to get tunnel vision to take it down. Rlly is a tad bit unfun for me... that being said, I do run a 5 color superfriends deck that is gonna enjoy the few upgrades.

@CovertGoCrew: Just to let y'all know, when CGB cast Guff Rewrites History, the way he played the card is wrong. Because he is not the Active Player, while he chooses the cards that gets "warped" back in the library, I believe Ben actually reveals his card first, and adds it to the stack, as he is the Active Player. Then, in APNAP order -- starting with Ben -- each other player puts their revealed card on the stack. So: What this means is, Ben's card goes on the stack first, followed by Blake, then CGB, then Shea. Then, to resolve the stack, the stack resolves in LIFO order -- Last In, First Out. Which means Shea's card resolves first, then CGB's, then Blake's, then Ben's. Interestingly enough, by the way, because the revealed cards are cast, and not simply put on the battlefield, i.e., like Chaos Warp, if CGB had the mana and the card in hand to counter any of the revealed cards, he could. And, any player can respond to each revealed cards cast with Guff Rewrites History as they can with any card cast without paying mana costs.

Guff is slang for fart in the UK. This was hard to take seriously, especially when CGB played "Guff Rewrites History" I just burst out laughing.

All of these decks are great. I like the slivers the least. I love all the strategies. This game was amazing.

As a Superfriends player, my strategy is to throw out 3 or more in a turn, activate for value, then laugh at the smoking remnants of their boards as they try to decide which one is the biggest threat. Repeat next turn.

Cgb made a mistake with Jace, Mirror Mage. He kicked it, but didn't know that when he made the copy, the copy is "not" legendary. And, he tapped the copy for the Honor-Worn Shaku and thought that the copy Jace was legendary, when in turn, it's not.

Correct me if I'm wrong please but couldn't he have targeted the disk with the flung sliver and destroyed the disk on the stack before it popped?

I feel like more content creators need to be vocal about the inaccessibility of this set instead of treating like it’s just another day in the world of MTG. Hyping this set up really just gives WOTC the green light to stay on the shitty trajectory they’ve been on.

At 32:09 , All is Dust says "Each player sacrifices all colored permanent they control" This includes colored lands, but they didn't seem to notice it.

Pretty sure Omarthis does not let you cascade in this situation. the XX would make it 4mv on the stack iirc. so not 7+. it does not look at mana paid

I'm glad cbg has so much fun despite being so bad at the game :D could've let his cmd die to trigger disk in blakes endstep and replay his cmd on an empty board. Could've used narset's +1 make red, play chandra and plus her to play blasphemous act. Well, it's the fun that counts :) also, good content despite the bad product presented !
