I beat Commander Niall without taking a hit. It was really intense and thrilling for me. I'm not that good when I'm fighting against him. Here you can watch how it went.
I want to try SL1 run or complete no hit run on Dark Souls 3 but it seems little scary. Also Sister Friede is really a challenging and long fight I can literally understand you lmao.
@@rigorm136 I beat him on my first try but when I past beyond NG+4 or something like that, he started to beat me so hard that I couldn't help myself but to quit.
@@egeturkoglu427 I’ve gone all the way to ng+7 in Dark Souls 3 My contenders for the hardest bosses are: Gael, Demon prince, Soul of Cinder, Twin Princes, Halflight, and Deacons of the Deep (without alluring skulls)
@@rigorm136 Halflight is so annoying. Worst boss in the game in my opinion. I do agree that large health pool of Gael makes the fight harder. Fortunately, he is such an awesome boss, at least that's what I think.
I can see your play style against him was of someone that’s scared to hit him even though there are many safe punishes you could’ve utilized there. But still, great play, I have no problems, the boss is hard.
Thank you! It took way to much to beat him like that so I didn't take any risks. I knew that I could've played better. I will try to beat him better without getting hit, again.
Honestly it's not very hard I could see myself doing it but it would be so boring because he has a lot of health and just spams the same three attacks over and over again
Yeah, you are totally right. I didn't really enjoy from that fight much but I couldn't help myself to beat it without getting hit. If I can be better fighting against him then this fight would last less.
@egeturkoglu427 I said to myself too, but I swear to god parrying turned to be easy, well not too easy, but easy enough you'll get used to it in no time
There were a few attack windows you weren't using. The fight could have gone for half the time it did, without getting hit. Either way, well done on getting out without a scratch!
Thanks for your comment! I'm not really good against him and I felt little bit frustrated so couldn't play that good. I hope that I can be better against him.
@@egeturkoglu427 Don't worry, you'll figure him out. Here are a few pointers: 1. His big lightning stomps can be dodged through. That can usually be punished with a rolling r1. 2. If you end up behind him, expect the poke+swipe combo. Stay behind him, dodge the poke by rolling towards his right shoulder, and the swipe will miss you outright. If I remember it right, you can launch a charged attack on him during that window. 3. Keep to his right when he does the 4 hit combo (Thrust, swipe, thrust, slam) If you do it the right way, you'll only need to dodge his swipe, and punish everything else. Be careful, though, because he can replace the last attack with the vortex thing he does after sliding towards you. 4. When he slides towards you and does the vortex, you can time it in a way, that you do a jump attack. Due to the animation, the follow up swings will miss you.
@@glorytoukraine5524 Thank you for your useful comment! You wrote whole bunch of good things. I'm gonna try what you said next time. His vortex attack is indeed a very dangerous one. My other attempts was ruined because of that. Dodging the poke attack and punishing afterwards really sounds great. I really like how some enemy attacks miss because of great pacing.
