as soon as you start the game, you want to be getting the correct skills to help you not waste time on something that won't help you, and resetting skills is costly. This video shows how to get it done right the 1st time
Something to keep in mind when comparing snipers with shredders, is the unit size. 1 shredder is 10 units, while 1 sniper is 1 unit. So the HP difference is 2 to 1 comparison in favor of shredders when you divide the shredder hp by 10, which still validates your point here that shredders will last longer. Maybe not 1000% more, but still makes me consider changing my skills.

But isnt it unwise to boost front row HP when you typically only use 1-1-98 army setup? Wouldnt it be wise to boost either backrow or switch to 1-19-80 and boost mid row hp, you can then use your zombies as tanks since they are midrow and pretty beefy. Just asking what you think about that.
1-1-98 is a very common formation, and will be used plenty by every commander, but when the enemy starts getting stronger and their titans are juiced up 💪 then you are going to need that melee hp as a buffer so that the battle doesn't start off with them killing your long range troops in the first couple seconds 😬 and since melee has the most 'base' HP out of all troops then it will provide the biggest obstacle for your opponent 😎💪 and for zombies.... I don't personally use them for anything that I can loose them at ( they are for "no troops loss" events 😎)
