The voice actor for the Tootsie Pop commercial was the first person to build a mechanical artificial heart to be implantable in the chest cavity. He was also the voice of Tigger, Zummi Gummi, and several others from my childhood...the dude is a beast.

Kind of disappointed that Mayael saw so little screen time. I love her as my general and there are few things more fun that using her to sneak out an Avacyn or some other huge creature.

My last commander game went something like this: Commander:Kozilek, Butcher of Truth Draw for the turn: lightning greaves Turn 1 : Mishra's Workshop into Helm of Awakening, Mana Vault , Sol Ring, Voltaic Key, Mana Crypt, Urza's Incubator, Lightning Greaves, Kozilek, draw and attack, drop winter orb pass turn XD Godhand isnt even the word!

Mishra's Workshop into Helm: 1 floating. Dump Mana Vault, Sol Ring, Voltaic Key, Mana Crypt: Vault Taps for 3, the rest basically tap for 2, so 1+9=10. Drop Incubator: down to 8. Kozilek for 7: down to 1. Greaves: 0 mana. Unless you drew another mana rock that costs less than 1, I don't see how you played Winter Orb.

Around 21:05 David counted Erebos as a creature, but he is not a creature as long as your devotion to black is less than 5, in which case it was only 1 at the moment, so Erebos was just an enchantment at that moment.

If you're referring to when he counted Erebos as a creature card in his graveyard, it was correct. When it's in the graveyard, in his hand, in his library, or even on the stack, Erebos counts as a Legend, an Enchantment, and a Creature. This is irrelevant to his devotion to black.

I love these vids, really, my favourite commander games on youtube. But I don't play any other kind of magic, so staying subscribed to SCG puts a heck of a lotta vids into my sub box that I don't really want. Is it possible to also have a second channel for the commander contingent (posting to both channels of course). Sounds selfish I know, but worth an ask :P

When David and Danny would set up for filming, they would typically film 2 or 3 videos in a day. Because a bunch of cards in their decks can be interchangeable, they would just swap cards into the next deck, and sometimes a card would just slip through.

l also don't think they realize you can't use Arbor when you play it. It's a land but it's also a creature therefore it has summoning sickness. So game 3 when the KArador player turn two Mulched, he was not able to do that because Arbor had summoning sickness.

I would love to see a pauper or budget commander, fetching a dual gets kinda tedious after a while. The idea behind a pauper deck is that you take an uncommon general (doesn't have to be legendary) and go nuts from there

As a keen supporter of the underdog, I can't shake the feeling that David always has the better decks. Junk dredge is a beast, and Mayael didn't pack so much as a Tormod's Crypt, Rest in Peace or any other generic silver bullet I see in most goodstuff-y decks. On the flipside, Danny purposely defanged his deck by not playing the colossi and other shenanigans.

I shipped some Scroll Rack cards to the bottom in G3. Mayael, Mosswort, and Summoning Trap all send cards to the bottom and motor memory was having its way. If anybody wants to let the scg commenters know, please do. I don't have facebook and thus, I am defenseless against them.

We often shoot multiple videos in a short span due to travel/logistics/scheduling. I can almost guarantee it was an oversight from a previous video shot the same day (probably Zedruu.) It's very common for us to try to use a lot of the same copies of cards between decks, especially lands.

I addressed this in another comment so I won't repeat it. All of the "cheats" in these videos are biproducts of playing a lot of games in a short and time-sensitive window with decks we just built prior to shooting. Because of our schedules outside of the series, the amount of games we can get in with the decks we play prior to being on camera is almost always zero.

Sever the bloodline is meh in commander. It'sa nice tech card against tokens I guess. But you can do the samewith a Damnation or a toxic deludge or any mass removal in black really. Hell, even a black sun's zenith. It's Specially bad in a Duel Commander match, where it's VERY unlikely that your opponent will have multiples of the same creature. At least in multiplayer you can expect some staples, like Simulacrum.

Mayeal should have had a lot of creatures on the filled mine has big shut down and stop others from playing things. The deck I run also has top but also allows me to untap on players turns and use her again and again for each player. I can get big creatures on turn 5 and hit the person on turn 6, if I et a good hand I can get a lot done in 3 turns or less.

It's crazy going back and watching all the misplays. I've counted 3-5 misplays cheats this game alone, not counting many more in their other videos. These were good entertainment but they didn't care too much for game rules. They didn't even have commander damage
