@@Big_Dai it is fun actually. It isn't about the win. The deck is built with a power level 6. Who is playing by themselves? You wanna draw cards so you do. Playing with you sounds like it would be a blast since ur so judgemental.

This happened to me too. My playgroup favored the faster games on a lower budget than cEDH.

So you have like a modular edh deck? I don't think that's very common but that sounds really cool.

I play a jeskai vadrok that is occasionally a jeskai elsha deck. My deck is as is and usually want to play early mana acceleration with the option to storm for the win later or pivot to commander damage (counters for vadrok, prowess for elsha). I'd prefer a deck that has the ability to pivot within itself without swapping cards. I'd tune to a meta for a store I play frequently or make a change if a strictly better option is printed though. I dont change the theme, I just optimize the strategies my deck can do.

We saw Forgotten Ancient in Jeremy's deck tech. We saw Evolution Sage in his hand during the game. We saw Brawn hit the graveyard to give Skullbriar trample. We saw Necropolis Regent in hand. Blade of the Bloodchief was in JUSTIN's deck. But good on you for being so much better than us all, I guess? I'm sure you have a huge RU-vid channel, and several Pro Tour appearances?

@@MrInithra If you thought his deck had anything but a pitiful showing... not even sure what to tell you. If he had good stuff in his deck, the game lasted that long, and he didn't get to it, then again his deck was build horribly. He was in black and green, the two best tutor colors for creature based decks and two of the best color for card draw. You're right about blade of bloodchief, it was in the vampire deck. It was ring of xanthrid that was giving him counters not blade, though if you count triggers, if he would have had a blade on it instead he would of been way farther ahead... and pay 2 to regen is not worth the difference in growth potential. So... the card that had the best showing in his whole deck, is an inherently bad card... case and point.

@@andrewpeli9019 I think you might have missed the point of the deck? Is it the most competitive build? No. Does it need to be? No. Does it still have most of the cards you mentioned as "being the good stuff"? Yes. Yes it does. Check the decklist. The deck, and indeed the entire commander Vs series, is not intended to be cEDH. If that's the content you're looking for, look elsewhere. Or try creating your own, and realise very quickly that it's just not that easy.

@@MrInithra no one said anything about cedh. His deck was a 4 on the power scale against the others that we 6 or 7. He got ignored and left for last, killed no one even though he was largely left alone and was basically locked out of the game in the one on one

There is a good reason I only bring my mainly colourless Vilis deck with lich effects out against powerful decks.
