@@austinwallace9965 Intelligent in all ways football’? That's a unique compliment. It’s almost impressive how you managed to find a way to make football knowledge sound like a pinnacle of intellectual achievement.
Nothing like recycled failures to reunite the fan base dude flamed out in Atlanta and consistently let a defense that crashed out in the playoffs have fun Washington you'll need a new head coach in 2 years
As a Washington fan I endorse your comment. Adam Peters is a hack. There were 6 QBs in the draft and he evaluated like an arm chair QB. Trey Lance 2.0. Kliff Kingsbury is an odd person as well. Bears passed on him.
@@Craighomoffman Kliff is one of those guys who draws up schemes that work well to start the season and then isn't able to adjust down the stretch. Or at the least they seemed to have little answer when he was HC there. I'd also argue his best years with the Cardinals he was playing above the talent level of the roster cause they had no business flirting with a potential top seed. I saw a story on Lezlie Frazier (now with the Seattle Seahawks) talking about how he wished, when he got that HC opportunity, to have listened to the advice of others and gotten himself a guy on staff who had been through the ups and downs of the position. And that's a big reason why he went to Seattle, to offer himself as a resource to a first year HC to ease that transition and be a veteran voice to lean on. I think Dan Quinn might've wanted a guy who had also dealt with some of the ups and downs of his position on his staff. If you look at his staff, he has a lot of former players who have different looks at their respective positions as well. I think he's trying things he didn't allow himself to try before and surrounding himself with opinions/viewpoints that might conflict with his own to help better his odds of sticking around. I still personally think Dan Quinns selection was more of a placeholder at the HC position till they can grab "their guy." But given its a new ownership, we'll see what the real vision is in a years time I'd imagine.
@@Craighomoffman I didn't include this in my prior comment, but to be honest I'd rather have Kliff be good for half a season then Waldron. At least Kliff understood he had guys who could win 1-1 downfield. Waldron didn't seem to understand the roles of the players he had on offense. I'll be brutally honest, if the Bears succeed offensively this year it'll be in spite of Waldron.
