Again you report Bakhtiari "contender" statement. He has backtracked on that saying he "just wants to prove what he has left". And that he want on a team BEFORE training camp "to be there "from start to finish". Until they TRY and and give him an offer, I do not believe in the nay saying he wouldnt come. Same with Gilmore. If its the "competitor" aspect they could have TRIED to get Aiyuk and change peoples outlook on the team. No reports of them even negotiating makes for a bad look, or at least an indifferent one. I see both sides, AP doesnt want to put us in a cap situation like Dallas and others. BUT dont say its because of X,Y,or Z unless there is evidence of it. Looks more like a cop out that real info.

Just because we dont like what we are hearing does not mean we are not "real ones". Been a Wash fan 50+ years. Played flag football with the Hogs, Green, and many others every summer. Those that LOVE this team will and SHOULD criticize obvious gaps and issues. If not you are not a "real one" and just a band wagon type of fan. We want better, and demand better shows the LOVE for our beloved franchise.

Commander fans want to sign any big name free agent. You know these guys are free agents for a reason? Any team could sign Stephon Gilmore and yet no one has yet. That doesn’t mean he can’t help us, but it does mean he’s not the unquestioned pick up that fans think he is, if he was another team would have picked him up.

@@samuelake1556 I never said that. obviously that was pretty horrible but for the rest of the season the defense was elite and led the league in interceptions. dan quinn has made every team hes gone to have an elite defense and with our new pieces im confident hes gonna do the same.
