All this talk about this being the "litmus test game" is nonsense. The 2-3 Raiders, who lost to the Panthers and Broncos, BEAT the Ravens IN BALTIMORE! What does that mean for the Raiders chances the rest of the way? NOTHING! The Commanders have SHOWN YOU that they can COMPETE at a CONSISTENT LEVEL and all yall can do is sit around saying, "yeah, but can they do it against Trey Hendrickson and that Bengals D?"-YUP! "Can they do it against that blitz heavy Cardinals D?"-YUP! "But they'll never be able to do it against Myles Garrett and that Jim Shwartz scheme!"-WRONG!!!!! The PAST is preventing you from accepting that this is what REAL, COMPETENT, organizations look like. Mix in 5, who is JUST scratching the surface, and NOW we have something SPECIAL cooking! RESPECT & ENJOY THE NOW!!!

Man are you not looking at our kick return team! We kick so they can return on purpose! Because we are smacking everybody in the face when they return the ball. Nobody got passed the 30 yard line which is where you get it if u kick it out the end zone. It’s a field position strategy and it’s working.

We just need to play bend but don’t break defense. The offense can score. Against Lamar, and Henry, you don’t have to “dominate.” If Whitt and Quinn get greedy and want stops for losses and sacks, they might get burned sending pressure. Ravens offense will eat, just don’t let them take big bites and let our offense keep pace. Best way to win it in my opinion.

EB already made his picks preseason. He has has us at 10 if I remember

The depth in the back end of the defense is a pretty legit imo. Between the two, Forrest and Butler should be able to step up if Martin doesn't play. Forrest may actually use this opportunity to prove he should get more burn.

I think the special teams getting returns every time is by design. I haven’t looked it up, but I believe if you checked the stats it’s working out in our favor. Teams are not starting on the 30 consistently.

we know the defense can play well when the offense is working, but can the defense bring us back into a game when we are down? that is my question for the team

It's likely to be a high scoring game. I'm not convinced either defense can stop the other teams offense.

Defense is just jelling and getting used to the scheme. It's a new system with a bunch of new players including alot of younger ones so a slow start should be expected. The offensive style is perfect to keep a defense fresh and scores so they can make teams one dimensional. The primary issue is a lack of interceptions.
