Metal slug heavily inspired the first Commando battle of britain Its was really great to see the games evolving away from Metal Slug. With Commando 3 while not being as free as 2 It had stunning visuals for a flash game
Some things are best left untouched. If it were to develop into a next gen game you bet your ass it'd be corporatized into shit, it would have microtransactions and would be a sacrilege. Just look at miniclip's mobile games and you'll understand everything. Sad, but true.
@@0IIIIII the kug fu is chiense, and the character name is Kong Fu Warrior, you can read it in the name in the lifebar when you fight it, but his bandana looks like the japanese flag bandana of some karatekas, and there's a japanese flag PAINTED closer to him, but probably they are not in japan, because that flag is painted, so it could easily be painted there by the soliders in their camp, not like the old buildings arround the level, full of letters and words written in Chinese sinograms, not to mention the sun of the Taiwanese flag in all that old and demolished buildings, the absence of any character in katakana, hiragana or kanji, so so we can conclude that the area is Taiwan (where 3 types of Chinese mandarin are used as a language) being attacked by the Japanese army... so, should to have sence if that martial artist is a japanese than domain the karate, but in the game is called kong fu warrior, so it literally should to be a kung fu user as the game say's by itself, probably defected from china, but it still appear to be a karateka from the japanese army, but we cannot even be sure of that, so don't waste yourself geetting angry because you think the other ones confuse the both arts, when even ourselfs cannot be totally sure if he is a chiense kung fu warrior or a japanese karateka...
That fighter is one of the most badass bosses I've ever fought. With kick-ass moves, goes with bare hands against a super soldier armed with all kinds of machineguns and rocket launchers.
@@omnisimon7479 Lol, I remember when I first played this and saw the boxers and swordsman come out, I thought, "Damn how on Earth is this fair? I'm going up against what looks to be a superhuman who makes Rasputin look like a weak little kid and HE HAS BACK UP AS WELL?!"
0:25 until the end of the music. It gives me shivers, I love that music so much that I even tried to recreate it on my synthesizer. I really enjoyed Commando 2 when I was a child 🙂.
@@MetalMustBleed Yed, it was when I was 12 years old, Now I'm 17. I made it on an old synthesizer but the music was deleted since it cannot keep them for a long time. I can still do it on LMMS if you want :)
I would always play this game at school when the teacher let's the class play games on the computer. I would play the hacked version for unlimited life and ammo CUZ I don't wanna die. I also love this kind of music too. 😎 so epic
This theme is Really Smooth and the Fight was the greatest fight in my quest for Inspiration pluse i love him return in Commando 3 with Beef up Powers :D
this game was my favorite when I was growing up as a child. before when I played this game as a child I never gotten to the 2nd boss cuz of the stupid sniper on the FRICKIN barrel. but I got there on the hacked version and I fought the kungfoo master which does the hadoken and shroyuken I know I spelt that wrong, but it was the best boss ever cuz it's like a rival battle. WOO longest comment I ever typed. 😂😂😂
12 years later, 2020 is over, flash died, in my opininion flash games are the best thing on the " internet" from 2008-2013 solo cool people&devs managed to create some truly awesome games, a lot of top ones were from miniclip, armor games, sky9games, notdopler etc. Wish that technology wouldn't be evolving so quickly would trade any "modern games" such as csgo, gta5, cod etc with flash games, wish I'd be born before to be able to maybe even create a game myself in the "hot days" of flash 2008-2013 and most music ost's especially miniclip ones are big quality. Sad part is that everything good comes to an end, flash days are over, it was a unique program that allowed everyone with basic/ slightly above average+ knowledge of computers to make such great games, for 2010 that was big, only 10 years is between then and now, but all already seems so far and distant. Flash is epic, if anyone is still reading, much appreciated! Flash may never be forgotten, and ofc i feel sick knowing what games&technology is gonna look in 10 years. Rapid growth of it is becoming quite concerning in my opinion. Thanks for reading and always remember flash!
For real, I wanna know the names of everyone who made this game. Searched it up and couldn't find anything, apart from the fact that that the first game was made by one guy.
