@@antonis190811 Sorry, Not sure how I missed this. You only get charged for crowd funding campaigns if it meets it's good of fundraising and goes forward. If the campaign fails to fund you just get your money back. As for if I would personally fund it I would say if I was in the market for a fiber laser because I wanted to use it in business then I would certainly consider it. I think the machine is really nice and I really enjoyed working so if you are serious about laser metal work and you don't want to shell out more for an even more powerful machine I think it's a nice choice.

I'm looking at the 60w to do gun engraving. Would this be good for that? I assume there isn't really a function difference of the laser compared to a split unit right? The price for what you get is a pretty good deal. Also what is warranty and tech support like? I bee considering monport and cloudray.
@BusterBeagle3D
@BusterBeagle3D 4 месяца назад
60W should be more then enough. Split unit or a combined function pretty much the same. I personally like the combined units to save space but it's a personal choice. I have used ComMarker, Monport, EMSmart, and Gwiekie fibers and they are all good. I have also heard nothing but good things about Clouldray as well. I can't speak to any warranty or tech support as I really haven't needed any yet.

Thank you so much for the review on this machine I have a question if you were to choose between these machine MONPORT 30W Which you have review on which one were you choose? I do have enough space for that one but I don't know which one is better please help.
@BusterBeagle3D
@BusterBeagle3D 6 месяцев назад
The 30W Monport is a better more high quality machine then this 20W machine but that doesn't mean this is a bad machine. The laser source of the 30W Monport is a Racus laser while this one was a Max laser so the Racus is considered a little higher quality. Now I have only tried the 20W Commarker and have plans to test some of their higher wattage machines in the future but if it was solely a comparison between the 20W ComMarker and a 30W Monport I would take the Monport if you have the space.

Excellent video sir. Can you tell me how the 30W and 60W compare when it comes to marking colors on stainless steel ? Is one better than the other or just faster ?
@BusterBeagle3D
@BusterBeagle3D 11 дней назад
The wattage is not the most important factor in colors. The biggest difference between the lasers I had was one was a MOPA laser and the other was a regular Fiber laser. It’s with the added pulse width setting on MOPA lasers that you really have greater and more consistent control over colors. Yes you can still get colors with a regular fiber laser but it’s always been a hard thing to get repeated results.
@reidjensen569
@reidjensen569 4 месяца назад
I watched this video along with the review of the Commarker B4 MOPA laser. I will be purchasing one of these but the question is which one? A 60W B4 is about $190.00 less than a B4 30W MOPA. Is there that much of a benefit to the MOPA? I’m kind of leading towards the MOPA because through the reading that I’ve done, there are more materials that you could work with. I would appreciate your feedback on this question. Thank you.
@BusterBeagle3D
@BusterBeagle3D 4 месяца назад
MOPA lasers are good if you want to be able to create colors on Stainless steel or Titanium. It also has the ability to work on different types of specialty plastics as well since you can achieve powerful marks at lower heat ranges. Regular fibers can also work on plastics but this just gives you a wider range. If the colors on stainless or the specialty plastics are not important to you then you can save a lot of money with a regular fiber over a MOPA. I have another video on my channel of a 60W MOPA B4 incase you haven’t seen it.
@reidjensen569
@reidjensen569 4 месяца назад
@@BusterBeagle3D I did watch that video, and I thought the coin that you made in honor of your grandfather was really neat! The MOPA probably has more power than I need, but I feel as I grow into it it would be better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it. I don’t think my budget would allow for a 60W MOPA and that is why I am leading towards the 30W MOPA. Is the 30W capable of all the items that you did in your review of the 60W MOPA laser?

I never really include prices because they are always in flux and can range wildly based on when you watch a review. I have seen machines vary by over $1000 in price which can make a huge difference in someone's interest in a machine. Even this machine I believe can be purchased for almost $400- $500 less then when the video came out. Also sometimes I'm not even aware of the price as these reviews can be made before the product launches and a price is set.
