Happy Juneteenth! People who do not understand the importance of Juneteenth do not understand the depths of the Pan African experience. It is a celebration of endurance and unity. Black Americans have come far, but we have a long way to go.

I wish I had a mother like YOU, because my mother she was raising three and I know that wasn't so many kids. But my mother , she was stressed out a lot she was in a marriage that I don't think she was happy with and she did a lot of stupid things with her own three children to get back at father I think first thing she did she left her first born child with somebody who did not know how to be a babysitter was too busy on the phone and she wasn't watching the one-year-old child and the eight-year-old boy that was there at the time with his and the son of the babysitter got mad at his mother and pushed the one year old down a flight of steps she got permanent brain damage for the rest of her life . mother came home and of course she was devastated she trusted this stupid Jehovah's Witness babysitting Jamie while my mother was forced to go out door-to-door spreading the good word of God and she didn't really want to leave her daughter in the first place but she was forced to by the sisters and the elders . then the second born child which was me my mother left me and my older sister with a very disturbed 13 year old girl named Chrissy McTaggart she lived next door from our house and she was I guess very disturbed child my mother did not know this and left us on emergency she had to go so she took the newborn baby and left us to with this babysitter for six and a half hours. This 13 year old girl invites her brother over to the house and then the Unspeakable thing happened Chrissy took Jamie's head of her hair and dragged her to the basement and threw her down the basement lock the door Jamie at the time was 6 years old. Jamie is hitting the door and banging on the door screaming .. Chrissy took me through me down ripped off my clothes off and took a belt and beat me with it several then raped me, I was three years old.. my mother came back no babysitters were around.mother heard scary at basement door Jamie was in the basement screaming and my mother was devastated to find me . she was just freaking out she went nuts she wrapped me in a blanket and got Jamie and my baby sister and took me to the hospital . I was ripped in six places and beaten and I had to have surgery and I had to have stitches all over I mean it was bad it was real bad ..after all that happened my mother fell into a VERY deep deep deep deep deep depression and got worse after that even though I had memories of the most worst time of my life. I guess my mother had the worst of it because of my FATHER blamed my mother for everything that went wrong in the family and that's the way it always was. My whole family really didn't care about what was going on with me or how I was feeling and what was happening to me .. I end up suffering from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder by the time I was 7 years old I dropped out of school at 10 years old because I couldn't handle what was going on in my life it was too hard to learn and 2 treat my classmates okay and handle bullies in a right WAY when they made fun of me. But I end up dropout of school to save my classmates .. I was VERY angry all the time so I took it out on myself I would take razor blades and cut my arms my legs it would release pain that I was feeling at the time I didn't want to hurt nobody, it wasn't anybody's fault on the way I was feeling at the time . I wanted my mother 2 forget me, so she could on so I moved to the basement. I was thirteen at the time and I live there in the basement to work on my SELF because I didn't want to ruin my family's lives by being around all the time. I was in the basement until the time I was seventeen and then my family wanted 2 moved 2 Myrtle Beach. I thought my life was going to be okay, no it never was. my mom and dad divorced after we moved Myrtle Beach, my mom took all the money from my dad . and spent all the money every penny on stupid stupid things. my life money that I was supposed to live on . but my mom spent it then my mother met a guy and then I didn't like the man at all so my mother made a decision and kept the man over her daughter so that's why I became homeless and I've been homeless ever since now I'm 44 I live in the woods I don't get married and never had children cousin of what happened to me but I have 47 cats and six dogs I saw these animals abandoned on the side of the road each one every other week , I always take them home with me I Don't Leave Nobody behind I know what that feels like.. I find good trash to resell at the Flea market to make money to buy pet FOOD.then in 2020 my MOTHER died and i never got to hear my mother say she was sorry. No my mother shown me her favorite daughter out of the whole family was my baby sister she left her a lot of money and the house . and left me nothing to show me that I was nothing to my mother. YA know that old saying whatever doesn't kill ya makes ya stronger, I think I'm very strong now I'm fighting like hell every day trying to survive it's scary out here ya know.... That's why I wish I had a MOTHER like YOU , I would have been normal that's why I wish a good mother like YOU.. Thank you for listening to my sad story's. GOD BLESS ya.

@sunshineharper4845
@sunshineharper4845 3 года назад
@@sandralawson5598 it's easy. Go to your Google map and find the topic Google map guide. Follow the easy directions. Add a photo of a place, answer questions others have asked about a place, look up a restaurant you are eating at and add a photo of your plate of food and do a review of the restaurant, and or check facts so that the map is correct. I started a few years ago and I'm now a Level 6 guide. It's really fun once you get started. There are even meetings with other guides in your area that you can go to.

That is a wonderful idea. I would love to go on her tour. I now want to do something similar because NY does have a lot of history regarding the economic development of Black Americans. In particular, 2 infirmaries are said to be some of the locations where Harriet Tubman took her slaves... A Historic Black owned and operated town Weeksville is just walking distance from both sites and now there is also a museum there. Another is Scenca village which now is Central Park. We have Chambers, and Wall Street then we could end up in Harlem at historic Black restaurants like Salvias, Melba's, and one more place.

Yes, please put these places on the map! On Google Maps, you can add them if they're not already there. Even if the current location is different, you can add the historical information in your review and then create list like I did to make it more prominent. Go for it sis!
