Some high performing Asian kids were denied places at Harvard so folks like that could demonstrate their ingratitude.

I wouldn’t attend college today. Its very expensive and I wouldn’t want to go through the ordeal of being told as a white man I’m the worst person on earth and I must hate myself to fulfill the outcome of a dubious education there. I made out quite well when I was a young man, it actually made me a conservative but that wouldn’t happen today.

I’m in favour of a 16 week ban and I’m far more liberal than people on the other side who think abortion should come without limits. Very few people agree with that and in Europe which is far from being conservative, abortion is allowed but only up to s certain point. The fact it has no chance of passing here says more about our contentious culture than about trying to come to terms with reality. We shout at each other but we don’t take the time to listen.

Hate to tell you this Julie but, in some cities, an unemployed homeless person can be arrested for vagrancy. That is criminalizing being poor. I was threatened with that back in 1987 when I was unemployed, homeless, and sleeping in my car.
