I like the acceleration that EVs offer, the low center of gravity, extra storage, lack of oil, & less moving parts which should make them more reliable. Unfortunately EVs & most new cars are being made with complex computer systems and cheap plastics. I'm waiting for EVs built with long term durability & easy maintenance in mind. My dream EV would be something like the Tesla Roaster, a coupe, but affordable. I personally don't care at all for touch screens, self driving, SUVs, or tech gimmicks like electric doors. Rich Rebuilds is among the best RU-vidrs for EV content.
The investment is misdirected. EV will continue to FAIL until they address the infrastructure needs. ICE vehicles succeed and proliferated because to the wide distribution and readily available refueling stations.... Ten years later TESLA still not has not addressed it, nor has anyone else.
@@graphguy Just wait until additional manufacturers get into the EV market. The EV share of the market will continue to increase to the point that gas stations will be closing at the expense of the EV. There are many charge stations, some run by private corporations and the movement is picking up. As charge time increase and battery capacity increases the prices of EV's are going to come down making them more affordable. You have taken a short sighted approach to say the least.
