Somali elders just say that which I have no idea why, we are pure Africans we aren't mixed and you should be proud of what you are and not beg from Arabs or Egyptians that see us as inferior to them.

محدا اصله من الشام العرب من اليمن والحجاز وأهل الشام مختلطون يمني حجازي ولاكن اغلب شمال افريقيا حجازي او ربما اهلك عاشو في الشام وبعدها انتقلو لشمال افريقيا ، لكنني كنت اضن بأنهم من مكه إلى شمال افريقيا.
يوجد هجرات عربية لشمال افريقيا..هجرات حميرية( البربر) هجرات عربية كنعانية( منها اوغسطين كنعاني الاب الروحي المسيحية)..التجار الفينيقيين الي اسسو اكبر المدن في شمال افريقيا ( حضارة قرطاج).. الفاتحين ثم الهجرات الثلاث هجرة بنو هلال وسليم وكانت اكبر هجرة عربية ثم الهجرات الاندلسية ( وهذه الي حفضت انساب بعض من الشام ويوجد من لقبه شامي في المغرب العربي)...لكن اصل العرب هو اليمن
