Commodore 1084s - Stored In A Shed For Over 20 Years! Will It Work? 

Same story with my 1081, got it free with rev3 A500 and other stuff. Been in the attic for 30 years in outside conditions. A500 didn't work anymore but the 1081 powered on like nothing. Did some cleaning and used it some time and then it started to lose picture. Problem was cracked solder joints near flyback, resoldered those and flyback too and then it has been working nicely ever since.

Nice. This gives me some hope with a 1084 that was sitting in my attic for almost 20 years and likely longer before the attic was added to the house
