I'd imagine the commodore theme song was on Australia's top 40 list with how many commercials they have it in.

The included Australian reference book includes all 300,000,000 species of Australians things that WILL try to murder you, the second you arrive.

As a CPC 464 guy, I can still kinda appreciate this tbh here...

Thankyou for posting, this joins some dots for me. The Commodore spokesperson was ... John Laws? I recall seeing a poster with what must have been him on it as well. These older ads remind me of why I could stand watching TV up until this century. The advertisers preferred low key, classy ads rather than focussing on attention grabbing tactics and volume compression.

Australia manual? In the United States, it came with a Commodore manual.

The Amiga 1000 came out in 1985! It shows how Commodore made some big mistakes in advertising.
