Hi, nice video and recapping. In one of my videos I also recap my A1200. To prevent future leaking, I used polymer and hybrid caps. And please, to every one here: don't cut the old caps. You can damage your pads.
Thank you for your video and knowledge. Having rediscovered 7 (yes, 7) Atari ST1040s and i Commodore A1200 from my loft, I will attempt to restore them all over the coming weeks. Your experience has given me confidence to make them good again.
Maybe the shielding from underneath the keyboard should be removed to examine if the liquid stains found on the underside of the case took its way from there. Just to be certain now after months of the first "intervention".
