I'm not for or against Common nor Jennifer. Everyone commenting is down talking on Common, but fail to realize that no one is perfect, not even Jennifer. I believe Common when he said that Jennifer led him on, including her ex-fiance David, Sr. Jennifer had no intentions of marrying him. She dragged that man for years and used David to be the major at home support for their son for years, while she focused on her career. They broke up when Jennifer was interviewed on the Ellen Degenerates show and stated, "He ain't going nowhere." The drama then started in their relationship. Jennifer led Common to believe that she loved him to the point of marriage. This is why he proposed. I do believe that Common would have waited longer even after Jennifer did not accept his proposal. The question is, How long would she make him wait? That interview on the JHud Show was a setup. She had Common to come on and confess his admiration before the world, then dropped him like a hot potato. I see her for who she is too. As for Common, he has dated at least four or five celebrity women. The key is that he did not propose to any of them, to my knowledge. That is why we call it dating. No matter how we admire the women he dated, you can't just talk down on this man just because he didn't choose to spend the rest of his life with either one of them.
