Ok i've answered this several times in the past but i'll do it again: posting YT videos ain't my job: i'm a full time pro musician; you can see and hear me here for instance (i'm on the right. playing guitar) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4h8ktOXzIxA.html i also have other projects (live & studio www.discogs.com/fr/artist/4061155-Greg-F?type=Credits&subtype=Instruments-Performance&filter_anv=0 ) Besides, i have a family (9 years old daughter) and friends like everybody else; with all that, there ain't not much time left. Since i only do this YT jam vids thing for fun, i gotta be inspired, that means finding bassless spots in tunes (that's the main issue) i really want to jam to; i've got a few of 'em in store which i'll try at some point but sometimes, i'm not happy with how it turns out: i mean it doesn't click so i don't feel like posting it and the last thing is that i don't have a dedicated spot at home to shoot/record. All these reasons explain why i don't post vids on a regular basis. Enjoy what's already there, peace from Paris, France.

It's so interesting to look at the differences in the music market between us here in the USA and there overseas in France. You guys are what we used to be hard core LPs and music lovers. Everything here is about streaming and downloads...

@@GregF71 yes Greg you remember! Thank you for your insights I still use. The most important lesson I got was to listen. I mean really listen, the difference between what we hear and what's actually being played, and tapping into creativity. You playing in Chicago?

@@GregF71 Thx man! I have the same bss exactly, same year and color... Your video convinced me that I need a dimarzio...What bridge did you put on it? And also, which pickguard? I ordered a cheap chinese one, and it won't fit..

regular Fender pickguard and Q-Parts vintage relic aged P/J bridge (because the previous owner had changed the stock one with a huge and awful Goldo)

@@GregF71 Just a quick couple of questions, could you get a similar tone to what you get here with worn-in rounds? And is there any specific strings that would sound similar to these?

@@thegoodfella534 yeah totally ! About brands, i dont know, they all sound pretty much the same to me when they're worn enough

you should learn to do it by yourself, it's so simple actually; that way you'll be able to come up with any loop/backing track and won't depend on anyone ...

@@GregF71 Sounds good, I have an old Sunn Mustang pbass that I used on a bunch of stuff. It also seems to sound good.
