I loved this series. It was well acted and well written with none of the tired old, worn out tropes which serve as filler in so many gay films.

Happy ending because two very Straight looking guys. Gay community doesn't want to acknowledge a huge percentage of gays. Men that aren't Straight looking. Straight community is fine with butch guys. So we are left behind as usual.

The problem with movie it's all about normal. Straight looking guys. Love actors. But think about how it's like for men who aren't Straight acting. If I could look Straight I would have. Most gays want Straight looking guys. It's never been a benefit. It just is

Unless I missed it, it would have been nice to have the characters from parts one and two return to Homer for the wedding, assuming they were still alive. Dorothy would have been in her mid-70s in the year 2000? Just to see how the town had changed yet stayed the same over the decades

The beauty of all three stories, even today, is that much of the conclusions are left to the imagination of each viewer. While the first story never provides a clear ending to the story of Brittany Murphy's character, we can assume that she went off to NYC and lived well in a more accepting environment, only returning to Homer for her mother's funeral. As for Jonathan Taylor Thomas' character, the storyline has a much clearer conclusion. The teacher loses his job after coming out to his students, later gets his job back, but is never promoted to principal and remains in Homer with his partner. JTT's character earns a degree from Harvard and moves to NYC were he is employed in an art museum. Hope that helps...🙂

Most non able to be straight guys live in constant fear. For me I was always accepted by my family. Nobody wouldn't know I was gay. I didn't try to be flamboyant. Just was. I was incredibly fortunate.

Problem with most these movies is its all about straight acting guys. There's a huge percentage of us who aren't. I can't be what I'm not. In allot of ways I'm happy I couldn't hide it. Straight acting guys have to choose. I never had that

Gilbert Baker On our streets, at our parades, and even on our clothing, the rainbow flag has become a worldwide symbol of LGBTQ pride. Yet few of us ask: Where did this flag come from? The first rainbow flag was created by Gilbert Baker, a prominent figure among gay political activists in San Francisco in the 1970s. What Amos said is EXACTLY TRUE TO THIS DAY.....!!!! #GETTHEHINT
@Leftatalbuquerque
@Leftatalbuquerque 2 года назад
I find the new variation on the flag redundant - the rainbow already includes the full spectrum of humanity. And, it makes it look like it was dropped in a puddle.

A movie that condones the sexual assault and brutal beating of a young gay man as just "this is what homosexuals have to tolerate." It's movies like this that encourage the normalizing of assault on gay men. For those of you responding in the negative, save your hatred for the person in the mirror.
@warrenbowen6223
@warrenbowen6223 9 месяцев назад
The film doesn't condone assault at all. It shows the brutal treatment some gay people go through but doesn't condone it. It simply depicts reality.
@EVillager
