I own an H2 green. Pretty much agree with you. My transmission with 150k is fortunately ok, as well as other mechanicals. Some electrical and also plastic pieces extremely delicate, like the door handles. Giving it the necessary love it deserves, it's an astonishing vehicle. Even with those issues I love my H2. Every time I drive it, I see the KING of the road roaring! Lucky who owns an H2 in 2023. The last classic car in history!
I have an 03 with 101k on it. Here's a list of what went wrong with mine: Fuel pump (this was the worst as it went out on the boat ramp at Lake Mead) Water Pump Both rear window regulators were replaced and the new ones went out also. Had the gauge cluster serviced and lights replaced with LEDs. Wipers and tires Replaced the stereo with a modern one. All pretty much standard things that can go wrong with any vehicle.
I own a 2005 H2 SUT since july 2023. I've received tons of compliments. It's an amazing vehicle. Recently the air suspension started leaking air, can hear the compressor kickn in, going to have the shop disconnect it until service appt 20th so it doesn't burn out. Lights up top did leak, followed youtube video to clean& reseal it. Front side light is flickering which is not constant. Its fun learning about this beautiful truck. Thks for video!
It's a good looking H2, paint and body look perfect, you got a check engine light on you probably noticed. I have one in black and that color which I noticed yours has a crack in the dash in the same spot as mine! I bought a replacement dash last summer but I need to install it, also need to replace a window regulator. Those also go out at some point but they're not too bad to replace. My black H2 has a pretty bad oil leak and it leaks power steering fluid. I need to get it fixed soon. Nice video!
You say that the hummer has many problems but not all. It shows that you do not take much care of your vehicle that's why it has so many problems You have the check engine light on and you don't mind
EVERY vehicle has its quirks regardless of model and make. I have a 03 with LOW mileage and I take GOOD care of it and I could care less what the public opinion is. I LOVE my Hummer!!!
Cheat sheet: everything you need to know about the H2 is shown within the first 30 seconds of the video starting from his MPG displayed to the check engine light. If you have an H2, do the duramax conversion on it to TRULY get the full intended feel of the vehicle otherwise, do not buy this truck.
This video is not helpful at all,, it’s your opinion versus actual facts,, plus you are talking about vehicles that are 21 yrs old,, any vehicle requires maintenance,,
I have a 2005 H2 and its great and i jave a 7" lift on beefy tires asking and how long do you let it warm up in freezing cold. Weather... I do about 5 minutes or more what your opinion
