what’s the point in making a video just to point people to the description box? why not just make a post on the community tab at that point

Hey there! So sorry if you missed the caption! It is the "description" section of the video. I pasted it below for you 🙂 Let’s talk about some commonly-used medications in the critical care setting & ICU! 💉Pr0pofol → Used for patients on mechanical ventilation as a sedative. This medication is administered IV & is short-acting. 💉 Vasopressors → examples include norepinephrine (Levophed, or a “levo drip”) dopamine, and phenylephrine 🩸These work to constrict blood vessels to improve blood flow in the case of severe hypotension or shock → norepinephrine is considered a first-line drug of choice & is one you’ll see often 💉Analgesics & Sedatives → examples such as 0pioids and benz0diazepines Provide pain relief and sedation to help reduce discomfort and anxiety 💉Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPIs): → example: pantoprazole (Protonix) These are used to reduce gastric acid production and prevent stress ulcers in critically ill patients 💉 Diuretics → examples include furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide, or mannitol, which is an osmotic diuretic and often a drug of choice for increased intracranial pressure. These drugs promotes urine output and elimination of excess fluid in patients with fluid overload, congestive heart failure, or increased intracranial pressure (ICP) Who wants to work in the ICU after nursing school? #icu #nursingschool #nurseinthemaking #criticalcare #nursingnotes #ICUnurses #pharmacology #NCLEXpharm #NCLEXprep #nursesofIG #nurselife #scrublife #RN #BSN NURSING SCHOOL STUDY GUIDES: 🧠 - The Complete Nursing School Bundle - nurseinthemaking.co/nursingsc... - Nursing School Study Guides - nurseinthemaking.co/shop - FREE Guides- nurseinthemaking.co/free - Website - nurseinthemaking.co/shop STAY IN TOUCH💛 Subscribe: ru-vid.com/show-UC_W1...
