About the whole drame thing. Look Waylon and Ilse were the common linnets they were a project not really a band. They were two solo singers only together for the songfestival, the album and one big concert. After that, Waylon had already planned a new solo album and Ilse was going to be coach at the voice (now in 2017 Waylon is coach). But than they hit this big succes international. And Waylon had to give up his solo solo album where he worked on. But he didn't. So now the linnets are a new band, without Waylon. But the problem is there were some media fights afterwerds. Ilse said bad things about Waylon. Waylon said bad things about Ilse. Ilse denies the fact that she said something bad about Waylon, and then she plays the victim. And so on. This interview is more about how succesfull they are, and how Waylon missed his changes to become just as succesfull as them. Wich is completly bullshit. He is now the biggest star in the Netherlands and he has more likes on his facebookpage then the common linnets. Around 106.000.

Yeah, it was a really bad interview. He called Matthew Jake, ignored Jake and didn't know Ilse moved from the city of Arnhem years ago. And btw: 1992girlll is lying. The only one saying bad things about the other in the press is Waylon. He even released a song solely to smear her. Ilse has never said anything about what happened. Waylon is the one playing the victim. And he would've never been able to sell out all these shows if he hadn't misused Ilse's fame and success the boost his own. And he is definitely nowhere near the most succesful singer in the Netherlands. It's not even close.

Yeah right, there is NO ARTIST who can sell out so many shows in such a short time if he has his succes to thank to another artist his fans don't even like. lol

1992girlll A lot of people didn't even know who Waylon was. He had to sing Michael Jackson songs because most people only knew one of his songs. And now he's a lot more known because he used Ilse who has actually had a very long and succesful career. Ilse had accomplished all these things on her own. He couldn't. He's a leech.

You think. In my inviroment everybody knows who Waylon is. And ofcourse he made his succes on his own. Okay he doesn't have that many hits as Ilse has. But his shows are like big!!! He stood in a two times sold out ahoy (17.000) people. And next year he will do that again. And he sells out shows in just 4 minutes. Shows he used to sell out (like 6 years before) in a few months. He is a star for a long time and he is getting bigger, bigger and bigger. And I hear a lot of songs of him on the radio. Wicked Way, The Escapist, Happy Song, Lose it. By the way I heard those on the radio before I knew who Ilse was.

I can explain to you WHY Waylon was mentioned. He was in the band, a lot of songs they sing are orginal sang by Waylon. What do they espect that people will forget about Waylon????? Waylon is the best singer from the Netherlands, he is not just a singer who happened to have been in there band. They make money with singing songs who are made famous and orginal sang by him. They say only negative things about Waylon in the media (what only makes it worse). And then they espect that people forget about Waylon. Believe me that will never happen. If they don't like Waylon stop singing his songs. He is to popular to be forgotten. And don't call Ilse our national treasure, because believe me she is not!!! And the interviewer did nothing wrong.

STFU. Waylon left OVER TWO YEARS AGO, so get the fuck over it. The Common Linnets' song are NOT his songs. The Common Linnets was Ilse's project from the start. It was her idea and she financed if with her own money. The song that started it all, Calm after the Storm, was written by Ilse, JB, Jake, Matt and Rob. So no, W didn't write that song and they definitely don't owe their success to a guy dressed like some weird Amish. (and guess what? The other singles they released from their first album: Hungry Hands, Give me a Reason and Love Goes On weren't written by him either) Yes, he is soo popular that he has keep singing covers and do tv shows to stay relevant. Wow, what a success story. And if he wants people to write positively about him, he should try acting less like such a lying, narcissistic, untrustworthy asshole. And he should absolutely stop acting like he's some innocent victim, because he's definitely not.

First of all, Waylon left for good reasons. If he didn't leave them, he would leave his own band behind. So he had to make a decision. And he choose for his own band. So that is not the problem. The problem is, is that they are not respectfull to Waylon. They say disrespectful things about Waylon and at the same time sing song orginal sang by him. And they do that for fucking two years. And as a Waylon fan, who by the way bought there album, I think I should say something about that. Second, you mention four song who were written by here by Ilse. Good for here. But from those four songs I only like CATS. And the other three don't really care. Third, Waylon was only one time mad because Ilse said something terrible things about him. He had all the rights to be mad. And that was the only he said something negative about Ilse. And this interview what it's like two years after date and they still act like Waylon did something wrong. And Waylon didn't do anything wrong. Fourth, Waylon might be singing a lot of covers, during a tv show where everybody sang covers. Atleast he doesn't release his covers like the linnets do.

No, Waylon is the one saying terrrible things about Ilse, not the other way around. With his stories, it's always' 'she did this, they did that', never 'I did this'. He's leaving out all the bad things he did himself to try and paint himself as some innocent victim. and people like you are so stupid to actually believe his shit. After months of his smearing, Ilse was forced to defend herself because she had been getting extremely nasty responses for months because of his bullshit stories (and she is still getting those responses two years later). And even then, she still didn't tell a lot about what happened, even though she had every right to. The Common Linnets have released exactly ONE cover (Jolene ft. The Boss Hoss). Most of the time, they are singing their own songs. That's because they don't need to sing covers to stay relevant. - People do bad things when they're fighting. And when you only tell about what one side did, it is very easy to make that side look bad. He should've either told the whole story or just said nothing at all.

Ik weet dat jij een Nederlander ben, en ik weet welk interview jij naar doelt. De bekende uitspraak van Ilse: werken met Waylon was het zwartste uit mijn carierre en ik wil daar niet meer naar terug. Ook wel het ik-zit-ergens-mee-en-laat-de-media-maar-raden-wat spelletje genoemd. Ik ken het, speelde een klasgenootje van mij ook graag (niet met de media natuurlijk). En dan word van Waylon verwacht dat hij niets terug zou mogen zeggen? Ik zou het ook niet pikken hoor als iemand zoiets over mij zou zeggen. Waylon had voor die uitspraak van Ilse het zelfs voor Ilse opgenomen, omdat hij vond dat ze teveel negatief commentaar kreeg. En toen der tijd, was ik het zelfs met hem eens, het is ongelofelijk maar waar. Maar na die ene bekende uitspraak van Ilse was alles verpest. Ik geloof er dus niks van dat Waylon zoveel verschikkelijks heeft gedaan. Gewoon twee artiesten die creatief elkaar in de weg stonden. Gebeurd wel vaker noem: Zayn en One Direction + Robbie Williams en Take That. Maar dat Waylon word omgeschreven als een soort van hij-die-niet-genoemd-mag-worden of de jongen die nog steeds NA 2 JAAR het boetekleed moet aantrekken voor het niet laten vallen van zijn eigen bandleden. Daar kan ik niet tegen. Ze zingen liedjes die oorspronkelijk door hem zijn gezongen, muziek die ook door zijn fans zijn gekocht en worden beluisterd. Respecteer de zanger en respecteer zijn fans. En oh ja, voor mij staat een cover uitbrengen gelijk aan 30 covers zingen.
