Common People - William Shatner [vose] 

And this is actually a re-upload of the original, which was uploaded at least 8 years ago (if I remember correctly - I can't find it now). Not only is the William Shatner version of _Common People_ surprisingly good and certainly more emotionally charged and hard-hitting than the original (even though I also love the Pulp version; so melodic and also a great builder track), but this version is an example of amazing lip-sync talent. This must be an extremely difficult track to lip-sync, due to Shatner's erratic and spoken (not sung) delivery, and the fact that it's a single take is extraordinary. I've tried searching for who this actually is, bearing in mind it's not the re-uploader (although many thanks to them for the re-upload!) but no luck: the original was under a generically named account, and had only this one upload, with no description, contact details, or even replies to the many very favourable comments and likes which it had - many more than this re-upload, since it had been online for around 5 years when I last found it. Anyway. Perhaps this talented individual will identify himself one day, but until then, I just watch and re-watch this, and marvel at his skill and charisma every time - he's so good that I always forget that I'm even hearing a voice as famous as Shatner's, since he's so perfectly in sync that in the end my brain thinks it's actually his voice! :)

I could have sworn this video had more views when I last watched it. It's my favorite lip sync to watch. An amazing preformance. His presentation makes the song many times better. As it seems you know the creator maybe. Feel free to pass message along. His video is one of my favorites.
