You can ally Moldavia at the start (this allows them to complete "The Order of the Dragon" mission) and then transfer occupation of Constantinople to them during your war with Ottomans. This fulfills their next mission (namely "Impale the Sultan") which lets you to, well, impale the Sultan.
Currently doing a Kiev to ruthenia campaign, I easily surpassed the ottomans in terms of income and army size the first 80 years. The key is to get London and some of the nearby high trade value provinces in that node. Then get a ton of lightships to protect trade in the English channel.
In case you can't take English provinces, here's a strategy: let's say you have france/brittany/burgundy as a PU, and Britain has lands in the continent with your PU's claims/cores. Then siege down all the english provinces in the continent, as well as their allies' province, plus get the ticking warscore. Then on the peace deal: select an island province (not protected by a fort in the British isles that is connected by a straight to the English mainland, then snake your way from that island to London, then remove all the selected provinces except the island, London and you desired provinces. You will see that as long as you have sufficient warscore, you'll see a gree check mark on the peace deal. Now send the peace deal. This peace deal (as in allowng you to ignore lack of control over forts) can be applied to any nation as long as that nation has a non-fortified island province connected to their mainland by a straight.

@Jaydawarlord have you ever thought about about doing a eu4-run, where your main expansion is done by PUs only? I would love to see your approach! To be honest: I tried it once or twice in the past but in the end it was a lot of waiting and sitting around and not a lot of stuff happened in these runs; so, it is probably not good material for a video.

You can do it, you just have a massive penalty. I was very close to get it as France in one of my games, I think I just missed it by a few points when Austria got an heir ^^' If I recall correctly, you have a 50 penalty for not being in the Empire, and a 25 penalty for not being germanic, but other than that it's a classic election. The best chance is of course when Austria have no heir ^^
3:55 nah dude this is such a bullshit it doesn't matter how much penalties they take there is no way you can win this battle if you don't have like 10 tech advantage, not even saying anything about your adm and dip techs being ahead of time while taking half of europe
May I ask how did you get such big army? I have no idea how to do it, and by 1750's I had smaller army than you did in 1520's ... how did you get it so big? I'm constantly trying to get my land force limit up, get everything and idk how. Can't find much online either..
@Jaydawarlord reduce? All my autonomy in my playthrough is at 0% so I have the highest land force limit, I tried focusing on that. Sure, I have 200k now, but thats only because I conquered big part of Russia which was being weakened by Ming, before that I had ~60 to 70k in the regular commonwealth
