Yup, that's a problem you are goi going to burn up that pressure switch if you don't fix the situation due to it over working If you have a deep well pump it's usually the check valve If you have a shallow well pump its usually the foot valve
Thanks for the video. I think I have a similar problem with my submersible well pump. I was thinking it may be my tank but think it is a foot or check valve. The problem is every minute or so my pressure drops slowly from 50 to 30 and the pump cycles even when there is no water being used. My water comes in from the pump though a shut off valve (there is no check valve there, I will put one in) then into the tank, Tee, etc. then it goes through a filter and I have a shut off valve between that and my water softener. If I shut off the valve to my well and the other valve to the household water, everything is fine and the pump doesn't cycle. As soon as I open the valve to the pump the pressure drops quickly and the cycle begins. I am assuming this proves the foot valve is faulty at the bottom of the pump (I do not bellieve there is a check valve unless the pump has a built in one).
